Mum and Dad met at the Mount, which is why we moved to Tauranga all those years ago. Little bit of family history for ya Emily. Loving seeing you both here. Aunty Rat x

It's so weird seeing that gray sand but I guess that's what happens when there's volcanoes around. In some ways it seems obvious yet I don't know if there's any official science to back it up but living near the water definitely seems to make people naturally be more active

Glad you're having a good time, guys. But New Zealand is not officially named Aotearoa and Auckland is not the capital, Wellington is.

Great video! Not to be a pedant, but the capital of Aotearoa is Wellington, not Auckland 🙂

we actually knew this but kept saying I the whole time! haha that's completely our bad, we're sorry! (I think we said it 4 or 5 times in this series knowing full well that wellington being the capital is a great trivia answer!)

interesting you couldn't afford the aquarium but you can afford several expensive coffees a day??? Seems inconsistent

Entrance to aquarium: $27 NZD per person Coffee: $5 NZD per person

Ahhh, but how many coffees did you have that day? I'm not tying to be difficult, and I enjoy your channel! But I do find so many young people are caught in this coffee routine and if you add it all up it can be expensive. Cheers

@@kirkcaza1075 only one each per day! ☺️ because they were free onboard we didn’t want to have more than that So still less than one of us getting into the aquarium!

Are you sure it was a Nazi U-boat or was it more likely a Japanese submarine. I know of a couple times Japanese shot shells on coastal locations of Western North America.(Canada and the U.S.)

We couldn't believe it either! The sign we read said German. Australia had a Harbour attack by the Japanese also!

😄 couldn't agree more! Might have to start walking around the bay with a parrot on my shoulder, try and get the name to catch on!
