Tbh eastbourne beach is 100 times better than oriental bay, and you can take a ferry from the waterfront and stop on somes island on the way and te papa museum is amazing but dont miss wellington museum which is about a 5 min walk on the waterfront from te papa. The cable car is great and worth going on but the bolton street cemetery is better if you went to the national library to read the treaty of waitangi, the womens suffrage petition or parliment and bolton strees cemetery had amazing roses and other plants to get to wellington botanic gardens and then walk up the botanic gardens via the herb garden and stop by fragifert perfumery and try to win a free perfume and go down via the cable car(its better going down anyways).

It was a warm day and I get really hot carrying around my camera gear aha!!!

The real top thing to do in Wellington is get out fast and go somewhere else, such as a real city not a jumped-up village.
