I took my kids skiing for the first time. They are all skaters and took right to it easily. I, however, have skied before, fell off the ski lift and just got out of the hospital today after 11 nights. I literally tore all my butt tendons!🤦🏼‍♀

With F skating, ,Jordan, I'm sure you wanted to be super careful, not to get injured before contract I know my son works and signs a disclaimer not to do certain high risk sports like hang gliding, skiing, snowboarding, parachuting etc looking forward to your Wonder Interesting if some of you former ice cast will be on board

Skaters are used to balance and using edges. I took to skiing/snowblading pretty fast (preferred the shorter snowblades personally! Easier to control for me). Jordan did really well! 😊

I don't get why so many americans don't wear helmets on the slopes. In Europe, almost everyone wears one, no matter if you are beginner or pro.

Honestly you should try skiing. It is very similar movement to skating! Also please please please rent a helmet next time. Especially being new to the sport it is extra critical :)

A beginner snowboarder should definitely wear a helmut. Especially when you rely on your body to make a living.
