Hi Jordan. We just finished our 11 day cruise on the Beyond & back home in Colorado. I'm suffering from a sinus infection from the flight home. BOO! But It was fabulous! Here's a trick for laundry. Use vinegar in the rinse dispenser. All the detergent & fabric softener coats your clothes so after a while, they become stinky. I promise your stuff won't smell like vinegar because you don't need a lot of it to break down the chemical buildup in your clothes. I know that might sound crazy but it works. Especially on towels, it makes them very fluffy & absorbent. Love your videos!

On white stuff absolutely 💯vinegar works. Have you used it on colored clothes? Didn't it damage them?

@@jessicamofokeng9466 No, it won't ruin colors. Actually, if you have clothing that is an intense color like a red, it's good to put vinegar in to actually set the color so the item doesn't fade. You can put it in a vinegar "bath" prior to washing it.

I just love watching this place that I called home back in 2009 be a home for you in 2023. With the same ice show that I ran a backstage track for. It's so neat and I'm very grateful. Heck, we weren't even allowed to have a vlog back in my day. You might now have been an ice skater on all the ships I ever worked on that have a Studio B, albeit in opposite order.

I hear you when it comes to crew laundry. however, in saying that i understand other crew need to use the machines, I dont mind if you move laundry from the washer to the dryer but anything after that is a hard no i rather sort through it myself. It is honestly the worst when other crew open the dryer and the clothes in there haven't finished drying and don't turn it back on, or yes simply just removing your clothes to put theirs in when clothes that were in there are not 100% dry.

Hi Jordan, it was so nice to get a summary of a different perspective of the cruise we were just on! We were lucky enough to score a big family room at the front of the ship, which allowed us to get some pretty great time-lapse videos coming in and out of the ports. Kotor is a particular highlight, even if we only got a couple of hours because they were late going in. I hope you guys enjoy the Tim Tams!

This is off subject, sort of... although I did note your purchases ashore. We always want to bring something tangible that the crew will enjoy... of course, it has to be something small and lightweight so we can bring many. What would you suggest? Someone told us instant coffee, but we could not bring much of that! Some cruisers say quality chocolate and others say no.

Yes I feel your pain with the laundry situation when I work at Yellowstone Park about 10 years ago, crew got free laundry but the machines either didn’t work right or not at all and having people take you stuff out before it’s done was always a big mess as our laundry room only had one dryer that ever seemed to work but I have to say the washer worked most of the time. So glad when I got home at least there if someone takes my stuff out it’s usually done.

The pattern hair products are so good and smell sooo good, i use the travel size ones as you don’t need tooo much product! I like to brush when i have conditioner in and then use the leave in conditioner and gel (its like a creme gel) in the shower as soon as i finishing showering with my hair soaking wet and scrunch it in to create clumps and get excess water out, then I use a microfiber towel and plop my hair upside down. Once i let it sit a dry a little I take it out of the towel. Scrunch in mouse. At that point i either let it air dry ( don’t touch it) or i diffuse it. Once its fully dry i break up the curls by scrunching with a little hair oil in my palms and some texture/ wave mist by briogeo. It has made my waves and my curl pattern so much better. Also helps if you don’t want to use heat!

So when I did my Mediterranean contract a year ago we were in Kusadasi, turkey on Halloween and there was actually a store with Halloween stuff!😅😅 So if you go there you'll have luck but any other port nope haha so try the youth centre on Royal maybe they can lend you some stuff to make something 😊

I have a question Jordan..the beach or hotel in your intro where you jump off what looks like the pool deck into the water & climb the ladder out of the water…which hotel or resort is that? That stinks you had to pay $25 to get your package especially when you didn’t know what it was!! Your laundry woes reminds me of doing laundry in college!! It was a pain but I would babysit my laundry so people didn’t move it on me and it wasn’t free! Yes they would break too nothing more fun when it wouldn’t drain the water out and you had to hand ring the clothes out and then have to dry it 3 times since it wasn’t spun dry!

Welcome to the world of a professional skater, every show is a physical work out. Roller skating is a whole other world. I trained and taught the u.s. roller skating team in speed skating, and rock n roll and what I call opera music. And the world Olympic association cancelled us the hour before we went out.
