Best advice is to get your gait checked before you buy running shoes - when you know what support you need, then you can investigate different options ...asics and new balance are both excellent options as suggested by other peeps! But you don't want to get something that will cause problems if you over or under pronate :)

If you plan to order them, while onboard, have Callum take a video of you walking and running. Take it from various angles. He can even use a good measuring tape to indicate the length of your foot. I needed to do that for my teen athletes during covid. Work with a reputable running store someone knows well.

It doesn’t look like a couples cabin… there are cabins with double/queen beds for couples, I was very surprised they have bunk beds and essentially have to sleep separately unless they squish (I mean they are pretty tiny people but still!!)

I've been running for 15 years and asics are the only shoe I'll wear. Very supportive. The ones with gel take some of the impact off your joints when you run. Never had anything to complain about them.

Really depends on your feet and the type of runner you are. Do you run more on the inside or outside of your foot, how you strike, etc. It’s not a one size fits all for proper running shoes.

Hello Jordan. So lovely to see you and Calum reunited. You did a great job on your cabin. I thought it would have been bigger than the old one, but you have made it feel very cozy. The lights are the “icing on the cake”. Calum has been put straight to work. All the workers on the ships work pretty diligently. It is considerate that you can even get off the ship for two hours. It gives you lovely down time on shore. Montenegro was very lovely. I think you will miss Europe when you reposition in beginning of November. Enjoy yourselves and your last few weeks in Europe. 🌠🍁💗

ASCICS or Brooks but best to get at a running store where they will fit you properly. Poorly fitting shoes can lead to a foot injury which might affect your job (skating). I reaggrivated my plantar fasciitis from shoes that were misfit - too stiff and set myself back months 😢
