Riding With New Upgrades On My 2013 Devinci Wilson!

My 2013 Devinci Wilson is one of my most loved bikes on this channel, I haven't ridden it very much lately because I was busy with my new bikes! But now is a good time to give a few upgrades to the Wilson and try it out on some fun local trails!
I was given the Arma V3 shock from EXT Racing Shox, and I bought some Michelin DH 34's to try out! I am enjoying this new setup for my Wilson, and this bike I just intend on bringing out once in a while, I really enjoy my Maiden of course and that is my main DH bike! So my Wilson is a 'nice weather' kind of bike, to bring out once in a while to keep in running great condition.

I'm old and all but I finally got to get the dream bike of my younger years and I love it even though she is 18 still rides like new I enjoy seeing people on older bikes I still think that they are just as good as the new ones have fun with the upgrade

I had the same bike for a while. Bought it around 2017. Just wanted pretty much any DH bike for the bike park. Turned out to be one of the best bikes I've owned. Even pedaled uphill surprisingly well 😄

The rebound can be changed by changing the amount of shims inside the shock. Changing the amount of flow through the main piston can also have a similar effect. just contact a shop like vorsprung for a custom tune

Not sure how cold it was that day, but the cold can affect the rebound speed in your suspension as the oil becomes more viscous.

Jordan, maybe a lighter oil in the shock will help. A weight change of 2.5 can do a lot. So if it's 10w now, try 7.5. 😉

Should be fairly simple to increase the base rebound tune in the valve stack. I haven't been inside that brand shock before, but all shocks follow the same basic principle...

EXT tends to have a slower rebound. It's no big deal to change the rebound to be quicker.
