The end of 2023 and beginning of 2024 my whole household was sick. We are all better now, but I just been feeling like no energy and making slow progress towards my channel and all that. Our budget is like normal; winter time is hard on our bills and variable expenses because my man’s paychecks are usually less due to the weather and working less hours than in the spring & summer. So I haven’t been able to cash stuff much in a few months, but we are hanging in there & im excited to be bringing in some additional income here soon once warm weather hits and once my cleaning business officially startes, along with some other side gigs I got going on. That way I can help more financially. ❤

I have had a rough start to the month. My oldest had an allergic reaction to medication, that was followed by an unplanned pediatrician appointment. But my savings is on point. I have about 400 saved so far with 3 challenges.

You don't have to register in your new state immediately after moving but you will want to get it done as soon as you can. Each state differs on what is needed to register your vehicle, I would look up the local DMV for your town/county and ask them what you need to register the vehicle there. You'll register your vehicle in your new state and pay their fees. You should be able to mail in your plates from your previous state, and you should be mailed a check reimbursing you for a portion of your registration.

Hey Jordan 👋 since you already have a place where you're moving to, start switching things over now. Don't pay the tags in your current state. Some are good about it carrying over but others are not. We are in the process of moving states for the final time 😂 so I've done it a few times

I don't know how Mississippi works, but some states you can turn in your plates and get the prorated amount back. So you just have to look that up for Mississippi. Also the new state that you moved to, you just have to look up how soon after you move. Do you need to turn everything over. Some states you have 30 days. Some states you have 60 days, it gives you a little bit of time to get settled before having to change over your license and your plates etc.

So when you love to a new state you do have to do a new vehicle registration and it may be pretty pricey the first time. You don’t have to do it right away. A lot of states give you a few months. Good luck!

I've moved to another state then back again. For car tags, when you get your license in the new state, that's when you'd get new tags. I think it's within 30 days of moving there, but not sure. I do know we needed bills with our address and name on them so it's not right when you move you have to do it. I'm in Arkansas, so tags aren't too bad (because there's state income taxes). When I was in Texas, it was expensive since there isn't state income tax.

For AAA you should check with your auto insurance you can probably get emergency road side service on your policy with them for $20 or less per year.

You have to wait to register your car until you have 2 bills with your new address on it. And tags in TN are about $48 for a regular sized car, unless your specific area has some special fee.

Hi, when you move states you have to reregister your car, I think that month becomes the new month that you pay registration in. Hope that helps, I know it’s not great news.

Some states do give prorated refunds on car tags when you move, others you are just out of your money.

My year started badly as someone hit my car on New Year's Day 🤦🏼‍♀️ (2 new doors & a respray but everyone was ok so it could have been worse) On a positive note, I've been doing 'Save to sink' this year & have just fully funded my last annual bill for 2024 🎉 I've also started a 5k savings challenge to start saving for a cash lump sum to keep me going because I've decided to retire early 😊 I've got just over 20yr to state retirement age but I'm planning to retire within the next 10yr, hopefully in the next 5yr if I can manage it 🤞🏻 Hope your move goes well when you finally leave your current place 🤞🏻 xx

Absolutely, yes! I plan on making youtube and our community here the priority this year, I just had so many orders I had to take a step away these last couple of weeks. Moving forward I do plan on still selling on the website, I'll just be selling less for 2024 so I can make more time for youtube. (For 2025 I hope to have a good routine that I can hire 1 employee to help with orders and be very consistent on youtube AND be able to handle more orders again. ❤)

Sadly, that money you just spent on your plate your going to lose. The only option to not change to the new state until your tag runs out would be if your parents are keeping their house in Mississippi and you can update your address to there. But I know for the state of Georgia (where I live) you have 30 days from the time you move in to update your car tags and drivers license.
