Quit my 9-5 job 4 years ago and started a small construction business from scratch. COVID hit and we lost almost everything except the business. We saved our cash and bought 12 raw acres last January and I built a small home on there. My kids love it out here in the woods. The stories are being written on a daily basis. Don’t be fooled, life will definitely be hard sometimes, but when you follow your heart, it makes it all worth while. So thankful to be born in the land of opportunity. ❤️

Being a small town country girl, being my dad's sidekick in everything possible from working on old cars, keeping up the land, riding through the country or just sitting at his shop just listening to his life growing up and being in the service. He was a simple man with a heart of gold, worked hard for everything he ever had and was always thankful. He had a stroke and was paralyzed on the left side and then diagnosed with agent orange and fought that battle for more than 8 years and still never complained but we lost him on 12/12/12 and I'm so glad he thought me to love, enjoy and appreciate simple things in life and don't take a second for granted, and when I listen to this song it makes me think of him. I'm getting married Saturday 11th and I want this song played. Jordan Davis you are awesome and I look forward to the many years of your success.

Dutch trucker here, Started to listen to country a few years ago. Rhythm is always nice when hauling through Holland and its surrounding countries. There was a moment I ran in to this song, I fell in love, had goosebumps all over me. The lyrics are very, very touching. Learning to find happiness in life is something that not a lot of people can experience. I my self have had a very troubled childhood and growing up with divorced parents at young age causes me to make a lot of stupid decisions in life. Choking up as I write this, I started to learn to find happiness in my early twenties, trying to surround myself with people that care. It's important to know that we need to remember our own roots, where we come from and where our hearts lay. Life is never easy and things are always unpredictable, but learning to live life day by day and enjoying every moment you have, can make a difference within a week, a month or even a year.

My husband told me to listen to this song. The video is perfect. I cried, both in joy and sadness. We are having it played at our 40th anniversary party - it pretty well tells our story. We "bought dirt" right before we got married in 1982. 40 acres and a run down house. We raised two beautiful daughters plus cows and dogs. The farm has expanded and we have a newer home, but lost our youngest daughter at the age of 29. She would have loved this song to - she was a Luke Bryan fan. The memories from the first years are ever so precious. Thank you Jordan and Luke.

I love this. My husband and I bought our first house on a small piece of land with a couple of acres. We moved from a suburban life and have 2 kids who are 7. We want them to know the importance of hard work and happiness from within and from your own hard work. We want them to see through us you can make your own dreams come true. We are putting a fence around it as we speak and making all of these wonderful plans to live our best life. This song really touches my heart and my life. It’s really amazing to see all the things we strive for our children and ourselves can happen. We don’t have all the money in the world but my goal is to be their mama and work hard to know I did what I was called here to do.

During one of the most difficult times in my life my Best Friend was saving my life and he showed me this song. I put myself back together, got closer to my parents, the woman I love, and our family. I made promises to do better, be respectable and responsible and we bought our own Home in January 2022. I was on top of the world. Then, we lost Mom in Oct 2022 after 6 long years of watching her fight to breathe(copd). Dad fought hard to beat the cancer while we watched it consume his body. He found Jesus, but still struggled every day missing his best friend and the love of his life. We just lost him the end of May 2023. They were both such great parents, and wonderful people in general. In one way or another they both taught me how truly important everything in this song is. Man, I miss them so much. I know they both would be so proud of me, I just wish I could show them who've they raised me to be and share this with them. 💔🥺💖

Kanwar, I know you reference God, but are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to heaven? Do you know Jesus Christ? I am convinced that most people who call themselves "Christian" know religion instead of Jesus Christ. Or they have created their own God in their head. That is why we must make sure that we know the God of the bible and know that we are truly saved. Lay religion, Christian culture, and even politics aside. Someone who truly loves you is reaching out to you not willing that you should perish (2 Peter3), but that you be saved from the price of your sins. With that said, how do you deal with your sin? Yes you. How many times have you lied, lusted, or stolen? I'm guilty, what about you? I hope you feel convicted. But if you're going to reject the free gift of salvation, you ought to think about where you are going after death. Is this your mindset? Luke 12:19 “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.” Please please do not be this person that Jesus described here. I don't care how if you are in a ministry or even behind a pulpit. And their is no shame in getting saved. Matthew 7 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. You see there will be professing Christians that were not actually saved. I want to help you. Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Because of God's holiness we cannot be in his presence as we are in our sin. No matter how righteous one may appear everyone has sinned and one sin can lead to hell, but there is a way out. We don't deserve it but God made a way that we may become the righteousness of God (Romans 5). I want you to have 100% assurance of salvation. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Romans 6 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Corinthians 15: 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED. Here is the gospel straight and simple: 1. Truly acknowledge that you have sinned against a perfect God and you are worthy of hell that can only be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 2. Believe that Jesus died for and covered all of your sins and rose again. 3. Say to God that Jesus Christ he is your saviour. Please let me know. I am praying for you, today is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
