I am 59. Will be 60 in july. I have been quilting every seen 2021. I did some when my kids was little be they didn't stay together. So I stopped. My daughter got my me another sewing machine so i could make masks and that is when i found Donna Jordan. I have learned so much about quilting from her. Our son James does all the directing, filming and editing. He watches each scene as we film and if we cannot see the process clearly enough, we will re-do it to make sure you can see what is happening. He also checks my language to make sure I don't repeat myself or use the same phrases repeatedly (I like to throw in the work "now" LOTS of times in my explanations).

I saw someone do the binding in reverse, sewn onto the back first and flipped to the front and stitch in the ditch on the front. I'm going to try that just for comparison. I've got a quilt in the works right now so I'll be giving it a go soon.

THANK YOU! I want to make a quilt for my soon to be born great granddaughter and have changed my mind twice about my pattern. I just wasn’t ‘feeling’ either for her and then I saw this one. Perfect! I do not give baby quilts. I prefer to give full sized quilts so the child can grow with the quilt and have it after they are an adult. I just ordered this kit from you along with backing. You are the only online quilter I can bear to watch. You have a lovely warm personality, you're very skilful and your instructions are crystal clear.
