Dear Prof. Peterson, I always appreciate your fairness in many issues but this time I cannot bear through the first 12 minutes of this interview. I was born in HK and lived in Canada more than half of my life now. Pls know for a fact that no people died in the HK riots by the HK police . HK rioters did hurt and some ordinary citizens actually died by the hands of these rioters. What the mainstream media depleted about the riots are not accurate. You address the communist party of China by CCP instead of CPC which they preferred to be called. Do you see how that reflects on you? The CPC did make far too many mistakes in the past but what they are doing now is actually very open and people can check out their goals in public statements. Most Chinese people don’t hate Japanese people. The museum wants to persevere the memories of the people who died due to horrific war crimes. The Japanese war criminals would probably been forgiven if they did ask for it. However, they never apologized and that’s why many citizens of the countries that were invaded are still upset.

As a Dutch man I must admit that all the praise and applause for our country brought tears to my eyes. So much I actually paused the video (especially the part at 1:02:19 ). We live in a time where every sense of pride or patriotism is considered a bad thing, so much, in fact, that when other people acknowledge the accomplishments of your nation it (apparently) brings up incredible strong emotions. The cliché mentality of a Dutch person is: stop whining and do your job. Our mothers creed is: "bad weather does not exist only bad clothing". We usually shrug our shoulders and carry on with our lives. This no- nonsense mentality is the strongest within the farmers community. They withstand the horrible Dutch weather with lots of rain and howling winds that blow over the flat lands to feed everybody. Literally. Not just their community, or their country.... no a large part of the world. They are the sort of people that, until a couple of years ago, were characterized as more or less "emotionless". Now their land, their family business, that was so carefully built over generations is taken away from them. It is a bloody shame. They truly are the canary in the coalmine. I stand with them for 100%.

The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of "Men who wanted to be left Alone". They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, the lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the "Men who wanted to be left Alone" are forced to fight back, it is a small form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. . . . Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these "Men who wanted to be left Alone", fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at the Left's door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy . . . . but it will fall upon deaf ears. - unknown

@@barbl8801 Going from memory but IIRC the Ukraine invasion shifted attention away from the US truckers. They did get to Wash DC and hang out a few days. Frankly it didn't have the impetus that sparked the Canadian truckers and united other Canadians behind their cause/grievances. IMHO the US lower 48 states all had different rules from almost none (South Dakota) to draconian (CA, Mich, WA, NY). This wasn't the case in Canada. It'd been real hard for South Dakota to get worked up and protest over New York City's authoritarian boots. So I think that's why it pretty much went...Blah!...in the US.

People trusted that "good things" couldn't be ended, and didn't realize that even "good things" are invaded, compromised and then brought under control. Scariest to me is that many good people in good places will pay the price for the desires of modern-day tyrants hiding in shadows behind politicians. The politicized people, the identity obsessed, don't understand that it's all a distraction to push them into a room and keep their attention long enough to seal the door forever behind them. This is no Utopia sought. It is payback for gaining our freedom for a period of time. When attempts are made to have us fighting against each other, many will take the bait. I will not. When the water gets shut off, the lights go out, the gas pumps don't have any left? People will turn back into animals, because they do not know the old ways that you are talking about. Preparing for this eventuality is morbid yet I believe necessary. In a dystopian reality, your Grandfather would likely have been one of the men left to try to pick up the pieces and start over.

It's so amazing to hear such wonderful things about farmers, I am a dairy farmer in New Zealand 🇳🇿, I'm proud that my family have been farming for 120years , my great grandfather had cows ,horses etc ,my grandfather had 5000 sheep and 500 pigs ,140 cows ,they worked so hard . My father has been dairy farmer all his life and me too. In this interview it really went to my heart when he said,if u wipe out a generation of farmers ,then all that knowledge is gone ,it's so true , u can't just go to school and learn to be a farmer like what some think. It's passed down through life ,through experiences living on the land, .my 2 sons ,they are 3.5years old and 2y.o , they have over 100 hens and they feed and care for them every day and collect 100 eggs daily and I drop them in town to people that have brought them, 1 year ago We spent 6 months with fertilized eggs , hatching them in incubators , lots of trial and error ,farming is born into them from birth ,I have 1000 cows.

This interview is more a viewpoint piece of what MIGHT go wrong, where "talk is cheap, consistency in predictions is hard" & bias is rampant. I work on the stock market. In short: We have capitalism; capitalism has in-built counter-levers to mitigate a lot of the risks these gentlemen are speaking about. The most paid people on the planet (the stock market billionaires); those most informed & long-term consistent in their predictions about how the future will unfold & most informed about the details of how these subsystems work, largely disagree about the "everything is going to crash & burn". Jordan has not done his homework here; he is much too trusting without proper in-depth research. Talk is cheap. One thing I've noticed that even rational, well informed people miss is that the fertilizer crisis has already happened. There is a time window in the growth cycle for application of fertilizer and once you pass it you don't just face diminishing effectiveness, you can actually harm the plants and reduce yields even further. This late in the growing season there is no remediation. The best we can hope for is to avoid stupid policies that will make things worse. Good luck with that.

I'm Dutch myself and from day one I've been rooting for the truckers fight against tyranny in Canada, it feels very warm, supportive and connected to see this returned in our own struggle against government overreach 🙏 You guys are right about the Dutch being very down to earth people, they have a lot of grit, they're problem solvers,strive for efficiency and usually very frugal in spending...but the past 10-15 years there's been big differences in government policies that break with this realistic way of dealing with the world and it's feeding this unrest. This uprising is uncanny, the only time this has happend on this scale was during the lockdowns when a curfew was set. I'm not a climate denialist or anything, I'm confident as a species we're smart enough to move towards lower impact on the planet. I'm also aware we may need to curb the excesses in farming. We *do* have mega stables housing tens of thousands of pigs, chickens and what not. There's still pesticides being used on crops. Runoff causes rivers and lakes to become polluted. These are real problems, that need real solutions to maintain balance and sustainability into the future. The farmers know this too(they already vastly cut nitrogen compound, methane and phosphate emissions since the 90s) but are often stuck between competition, high loans for equipment, fertilizer and seeds. We need to work this out WITH farmers, not get rid of them. It's unforgivable that the powers that be thrust half the world into poverty, famine, possibly war, and expect this will help in anyway to save the climate or the planet or the people. It's malignant, and it's going to make things worse for everybody. It's hard not to go down conspiracy rabbit holes and keep a level headed opinion regarding all of this. Since last year I've started growing some vegetables, fruits and different kinds of berries. Not to stave of starvation or become self-reliant(I'd need a much bigger yard 😅), but to learn, to experience what it's like to grow food and save soem expenses(which due to this insane inflation of 11% actually pay off really nice atm). But I can tell you: it's fucking hard. Snails, lice, mice eat your produce. Disease or drought wilt the leaves. Wrong composition of nutrients and you get small yields etc. etc. My respect to these farmers grows by the day: Trots op die boere! 💪
@rey_nemaattori2 жыл бұрын
Like to add one thing, and that's the fact there's actually a technological solution for the nitrogen compound and methane issue: Nitrogen Crackers A device removes 70-80% of nitrogen compounds and up to 60% of methane from manure, resulting in what's effectively artificial fertilizer and a bunch of organic waste. In a world where the biggest exporter or fertilizer is sanctioned, China is stopping exports, the Dutch would do wise to crack their manure. Not only would it be the cheaper option(it costs around 5 to 7 billion to provide EVERY FARM IN THE NETHERLANDS with one, whereas buying up the farms to get to the needed reduction would cost around 20-25 billion), it would literally provide an new income revenue: We could export this fertilizer to whoever was hurt by Russian sanctions and poorer countries, so people can grow their food and stave of starvation. Instead of killing the farming industry, it's possible to get the reduction we want(or need, or is forced upon us) WITHOUT killing an existing industry and it income, but generate a second industry and revenue from it, at a cheaper cost than what's currently planned. It's these decisions that actually incline me to believe this isn't mere incompetence but actual malevolence.

The pessimism of this interview --> "let's list everything that could go wrong & assume IT WILL go wrong, without thinking about everything that could go right & assuming IT MIGHT go right". Stake your livelihood on it, if you have conviction in your predictions --> it's what the stock market is for. Reality will sort you out. ^^

Not my first choice on where to live, but I had to take all that was availabe just accepting whatever I could get sight unseen. Lots of maintenance issues with no real maintence crew, just a couple snobby young weak shammers that don't know their jobs and responsibilities who lie to the office always, despite only being 10 years old for it's a very cheap quality build advertised as luxury for the leasing office is beautiful corporate illusion of a very high build quality. I thought I scored big a year ago until I tried my kitchen faucet and had a look in the bathoorm. Gosh it leaves lots ot be desire for it's a weak low quality construction. We've tried to grow stuff and only house plants like philidendria and pothos can grow while tomatoes stunt only growing a few tiny green fruits and melons just grow a vine and only one tiny green one with a bloom and once the bloom shrivels and falls off, you're left with a small rotten one and no more. Even the trees are small and stunted. While America has all that lush green unused land held by Bill Gates and the WEF global corporation only overspeculating values and holding them in a game of Monopoly ensures we can't have a country that is our country to thrive in. I needed an acre for myself and a sustainable economic means to pay for it all so I can have a car and truck, a home, and garden and things like chickens, tomatoes, and canning in the kitchen. You know, like be smart and self sustainable and guarded from all the issues we're increasingly seeiing. $8 dozen egss is stupid and then I'm hungry more so now than not and will lose weight when milk, cheese, and eggs are no longer possible. It's what those on the top are doing for themselves for they have the money to just buy a $500k average house with an acre or something and then set it up for living the good secure like that all maturing adults want and need. I needed a space that is my space instead of corporate owned rental with electronic access considering the internet and electricity is probably going to go down which is going to kill us renters for that shuts down the apartments and all corporate stores with farmers markets being very limited and controlled only operating 4 months every Summer with astranomical prices on what is execellent organic quality for the rich people of course. I tried to get a VA home loan but two big problems. Market is way over speculation where $500k is way too much where I need probably no more than $200k purchase price and then about $50k more for improvements and upgrades like adding chicken coup, fencing, security, and technology. Problem 2 is I was rejected out of being low income mostly unemployable disabled veteran without a vehicle nor any equities to guarantee my loan despite the fact it was supposed to have been guaranteed by the US Government making it not possible to default on much like student loans. I know national debt and war is the kiiller of our great nation, but look at hte polticians reckless acts now. Gosh. We're so screwed. The planters and soil were so overpriced last year and I waisted closed to $300, didn't produce, and know I have nothing to work with other than an EBT card, a little cash, and corporate stores such as Kroger that are increasingly failing to operate for living up to their purpose which was to feed America instead of being about the profit. I need chickens, a couple milk goats, a fucking real garden that is my land, a home, and a good vehicle and at least $2000 a month income if not $5000 for gosh sakes. It sucks.

@Jaster8322 жыл бұрын
@@CaptiveReefSystems I'm not talking about his debate skills, which are very good. I would agree he's one of the better cultural debaters, but not one of the best cultural commentators. The problem with Shapiro is he buys into the left's overall premises but arrives at different solutions to the problems the left claims are existential threats. Take the issue of jabs. Literally everyone on the right now sees them as dangerous and ineffective except Shapiro and ironically Trump (ironic b/c Shapiro is an anti-Trumper through and through.) He bought in whole hog to the idea that the jabs were the solution to the pandemic while the rest of the commentators were actually looking at the numbers and arriving at the conclusion that the pandemic was basically a very bad flu season. Another issue that he is so off-base on it's ridiculous is the climate emergency. He buys the premise that man-made climate change is not only real but something we can control and that should be controlled. He buys this malarkey but arrives at a different course of action whereas most people on the right don't buy it because the science just does not support it. What the science does support is that the sun and the Earth's orbit around it is the main influence and any effect man has is entirely coincidental and inconsequential, and even if it isn't, 2" of sea level rise is far from existential. Most conservatives are "conservationists" and not "environmentalists" whereas Shapiro buys into the environmentalist rhetoric but thinks it's not that big of a deal. Another one he's completely put his head in the sand over is the problem of election integrity. He is so anti-Trump that when something like 2000 Mules comes out and is pretty difficult to argue against he turns his not insignificant powers of debate against 2000 Mules instead of arguing in support of it. I think this is due to his fundamental distaste for Trump, which he has been very clear about for the past five years. You cannot "put aside" his ego because his ego is what is making him cling to a lot of his arguments long after it's been made abundantly clear that he was wrong from the beginning. This is very clear if you are well versed on the election and jab issues. There are other things he's terrible on, but those are the big three that really put him more aligned with the NeoCons than the America First crowd. Shapiro is a moderate, at best, a globalist at worst. If you read between the lines it's also difficult to tell if his allegiance is with the United States or with Israel, and if he had to choose one to survive another 100 years it's pretty obvious which one he would side with, if you ask me. That isn't necessarily a knock on him, either. You should have an allegiance to God over country. It's just important to know where people stand, and Shapiro tries to play it like he's "America First" but he avoids talking about any issue that would force him to choose between Israel and the USA. Don't get me wrong, I like Israel and think they're a force for good in the middle east and I far prefer them to Iran or Saudi Arabia, but let's not pretend that they are the best ally.

Man, this is why I love having this kind of information available. I'm a Dutchman and I didn't know our farmers were so effective. Before watching this video, I was really all about saving the planet, mostly because years and years of scientists warning that global warming was a threat that was long ignored. This gave me a sense of the absolute necessity of acting quickly and harshly. I never even thought what it would do to the world. I feel guilty about not having seen it. @@proinseasokiellig4388 How would you prove that without reasoning honestly and properly with Logic and proving the authentic Hebrew Bible and it’s “one true God” to be the source of knowledge? What do you think it meant to “reckon faithfully with the one true God” in Jewish Philosophy? It means “reason properly and honestly with Logic” if you study the real Bible (not the unauthorized Christian one) and apply Logic to it. Logic=Hashem when both are defined and described as something like “the source of knowledge, order, all that is logical, and the method/facilitator of proper reasoning” or “the tree of knowledge of good and evil”. Jesus was a ostensibly a real guy, but was OBVIOUSLY not the messiah and could not have been without the consent of the high priest and the very Jewish leaders that allegedly had him crucified for falsely claiming to be God (when both Logic and the scripture say no man could possibly be God). Even if Jesus had not preached things that contradict Moshe’s Torah and the Tanakh (which was canonized 400 years before Jesus was born) and even if he had done all he needed to do to be the messiah A) he still cannot be the incorporeal God aka the “substance of Logic” and B) he could not have been the Messiah Isaiah spoke of, because even if it was not Jesus’s fault, the world and people in his time were not enlightened en masse and were not the messianic generation (the generation where everyone is so enlightened that paradise on earth is inherent).

I'll fight like hell for my family and country against this pre-planned totalitarian tyranny. Sadly, I must also use some of my time, energy and resources to prepare for what is coming. Perhaps my biggest frustration is that the majority of Canadians are sound asleep or have been turned into sheep. What is that change to be made that will provide an alternative path to travel. In this message, (again another message I cannot find fault with) from Jordan and co. I’ve heard Dr peterson speak for awhile. Listened to hundred of lectures and read many books that he recommended. He’s spoken many times in the past that we’re troubled and we’re going down the wrong path; But he’s never spoken so dismally and admitted that we’re in precipice of catastrophe right now. Thank you for giving me warning. Because when the mass find out unfortunately, it’s already too late.

You're right. Many of us have been saying this for many years but it strikes a nerve when someone of Dr. Peterson's caliber says it so plainly.

@@psychcowboy1 I recommend investing more time into his lectures and read some of the literature he recommends. As well as some public information forums that are accessible in public databases which most people don’t do. It’s too much to try to rationalize, provide you with proof that you can find yourself or go down a rabbit hole to someone on KZbin. The interaction is much appreciated though and it’s interesting to hear perspective.

It isn't just trucking but railroads are flat out refused to haul fertilizer to destinations where needed by all farmers for crops this year. Unfortunately I've seen this coming since Clinton was in the Whitehouse. I get my information from the Most High God!

@@raystargazer7468 to starvation camps and genocide to the citizens who built this country with the sweat off their backs and, with spilled blood from wars for others to gain wealth. For the past 25 of my 65 years of my life I've watched the people who call the shots treat regular hard working people torn apart with propaganda about hate, patriotism and obvious corruption. Greed and Evil people put us here but more over bigotry! There are those who count themselves as Superior. When in fact they are nothing but wealthy lucky cheating scary cat! No love in them except for there self and others like them.

Wonderful sit down... bleak, but elucidating. With the truth we can move mountains, with lies we drown. Our govt/media 5th Column is beyond hope. God help us all.
