He is just like his father. Corrupt and tyrannical to his core, elected based on charisma and 'looks, with a creepy cringe factor that just gets worse each day he's enabled. Trudeau Sr. went to China as Prime Minister nearly two years AFTER the presidential visit of that well-known communist fellow- traveller(yes, it's sarcasm), Richard Nixon. The elder Trudeau's visit should be regarded as support for the US policy towards China at the time, which was to increase trade and cultural ties and build a "strategic understanding" with Bejing against the Soviet Union, with whom the PRC almost fought a full-scale war in 1969 that could easily have gone nuclear. Ironically, the centre-piece of Pierre Trudeau's trade policy was to reduce, as much as practically possible, our trade dependence on the US. Had this been achieved, we might not be staring down Drumpf's tariff gun as we are presently. And no, I don't support Justin. But I do support historical fact and accuracy in discussing history.

You can chime in every now and then to pull out more from your guest but let them finish each and every train of thought. I stopped watching you for a few months because of this so I thought I would try another of your videos. You are not an interviewer: you are a doctor diagnosing a patient.
