Like watching the auctions and I have found that here in Kentucky the Amish also have a small animal sale once a month. But not as large an auction that you attend. Glad you give the price so it helps me to know what to expect when I attend their next auction Great videos that people enjoy watching.
@JordansHarvest2 жыл бұрын
Prices can be wildly different in other places. I am curious what your sale is like though!
@garymccord42772 жыл бұрын
Will do, Sale will be Aug 12 in small animal auction held in Preston Ky, I think birds and rabbits is how it is listed . Will let you know prices.

How do you tell the young hens from the old ones? Is it just that younger ones have a smaller comb?
@JordansHarvest2 жыл бұрын
Comb size can give you a idea but it far from a sure thing. I’ve been raising birds for over 25 years. I can’t tell you why I think they are older or younger but they look different lol

What are the uses for pigeons in your area? Do the Amish use them for anything specific?
@JordansHarvest2 жыл бұрын
The Amish mostly use them for sale/resale. There are a few fanciers, people flipping them at other auctions, and dog trainers

The call ducks are not mixed with mallards they are grey call ducks and yes they look like miniature mallards.
@JordansHarvest2 жыл бұрын
They were a touch bigger then what a call should be. But they very well could have just been poor quality grey calls!
