During that interview after the finalists for the all around we're announced, I was nearly choking up with her. She was trying so hard not to cry. You can tell how bad she wanted it. Those were some heavy, genuine tears. I felt so incredibly bad for her. I love you Jordyn!

I love how Kyla's coach cheered Jordyn on before her first pass and comforted her at the end. Its so inspiring to see people cheering for another person to reach their dreams. After beam, Coach Geddert told Jordyn that she had to rock the floor routine, and Jordyn gave her floor routine her all because she wanted to be in that all around so badly. She is a true champion. I REALLY want her to write a book about how to deal with life when you've worked so hard and things simply don't turn out as you always imagined them. I think a lot of people, including myself, could learn a lot from her.

Ah, Jordyn... No matter what, such an amazing champion. Absolutely love this video. Made me tear up a little. Reminded me of her mom in an interview right after this saying Jordyn was going to be as classy in defeat as she always was in her many victories. And that's exactly what happened. This was such a beautiful, and well put together video. I love Jordyn so much, and was not only sad about her not winning the all around, and not doing well in the floor final, but even more sad that she has retired (due in part to her going pro, and not being allowed to compete collegiately or elite). After seeing her in London, I was sure that she would have a promising future in gymnastics.

I love Jordyn! it's so sad her Olympic career ended like that. she's officially retired from gymnastics and won't make a run for Rio 2016! I would've loved to see her again and maybe even win a medal in the AA or in any other event... it's so sad

I was so upset for her at the time. I know she was really upset and angry at not making the all around. I know there were different reasons she didn’t make it (poor routine construction I think was the main one.) But she knew to turn the page like all athletes at that level do. It is great to see how she and all the athletes on that team forged ahead and won even through all the adversity.

I just got it now ... one of Jordyn huge issues was not getting the connection from standing full in + ff on beam but remember Sam Pezsek? She had a full in + back piked and it always worked for her, but she used the landing of the full in and rebounded to the back piked where as Wieber makes a pause to adjust balance before heading into back ff ...

I'd love to know what her relationship with John Geddert was like, if he was good to her bc she was his fave and always winning or if he was horrible to her bc that's how he coached. She never bad mouthed him in the press after the Nassar scandal, so many girls had A LOT to say about John. I always wondered what her feelings are.

im not going to make you believe in God, but this girl is strong! to be heart broken, and to come back the next day and kill it! I believe God was looking over her and the whole team telling her that great things are going to come.
