@ShawnVikaKomova2012 She's pretty consistant in competition...the only time I've seen her fall was at 2010 Junior Nationals, when she had injured her ankles in podium training and at this year's American Cup and that was the first time she competed that bar routine. I do agree that Dementyeva will take the silver (love that gymnast) and I think it will be quite the battle between Maroney and Komova, I can't wait to see that play out. I think even without Mustafina these world's will be great.

@xoxPatriots83ily I meant to say these* worlds earlier. It's definately her title to lose. Like I said, if other people have small mistakes, it's possible for her to win with a fall. Dementyeva's scoring in the high 58s (Wieber's biggest challenge right now) and Jordyn got a 61.4 night two (although she was overscored on floor and vault), so she has really good chances.

Saw a video of Wieber throwing a double layout bars dismount in podium training. Maybe she's taking out the Fabrichnova. I hope.

@xoxPatriots83ily She's fallen a ton more than that. Jesolo 2011, 2011 Woga Classic, (just to name a few) and she's been having rough beam and bar sets sometimes. There worlds will be better than 2010's.

Unless Jordyn falls in the AA at World's that medel is as good as hers. Sure their are some Russians who can compete with her and of course our own Maroney as well, but if Jordyn hits every event, overall she has the start values to win it over everyone else. And she is extremely consistent, so I can't wait to see her kill it at world's

the reason why i left maroney is because she cant help anywhere but vault and we have over 3 gymnasts besides maroney that can help the team score.individually she already has the gold on vault,but i think we need ross' beam and bars more than we need maroney's vault and finegan is very good on beam i hope marta gives her a shot

@xoxPatriots83ily I wouldn't say she's consistent... Maybe in the gym, but definately not in competition. She's going to be the world champ unless she has a fall and there's a possibility she could pull a Ferrari and win with a fall. Tan, Dementyeva, Porgras, Maroney, and Komova are going to be her challenges. I'm predicting a Wieber, Dementyeva, Komova podium but Maroney could sneak on. That's only if Komova gets a better vault and puts back some skills on floor.

@481095ymg2 I like her floor music. She was only doing a Yurchenko 1/2, actually, but I bet she can have a 1.5 by October. Her bars is better than before, no question. On beam, she's pretty steady. A 15.525 on beam is REALLY steady. Gold medal material. She probably won't have the Patterson back and almost certainly not the FF + LOSO + Arabian. On floor, she'll probably have the triple full soon. I doubt she'll have the double layout, and she might have the 1.5 + double Arabian. CONTINUED.

@kaiceekat Nah, she doesn't point her feet on her flipping tumbles or her bars releases. And a ton of her acrobatic beam elements. And she doesn't always hit split. She cheats her splits too.

she is good for sure. but I think she needs to work flexibility and amplitude on her leaps. Like Shawn Johnson, her leaps are not full split all the time. Her back leg is a bit lower. She also does not have the beautiful lines and toe point of some of her competitors. I like her for sure but she is not pushing the limits.

@ShawnVikaKomova2012 no, not really. Her bars will probably improve by the time worlds rolls around but at the moment her yurchenko full and shaky beam routine and watered down floor routine (not to mention with some "interesting" music) doesn't look like it can hold up to Wieber's.

Lol, you watch too much MIOBI. You aren't classified as a "power gymnast" or an "artistic gymnast". This is Artistic Gymnastics and judges deduct for lack of artistry nowadays. Not saying Jordyn isn't artistic. She is especially on floor. However, that doesn't negate the fact that this sport is about artistry first and foremost. It's not called "Power Gymnastics", now is it?

there is nothing artistic about wieber at all....thats my problem with her.neither was carly patterson or kupets.nor douglass nor raisman nor sacramone ugh there is no artistry these days except for the russians.
