Say what you want about Jorge , he had one hell of a career that a lot of fighters could only dream of. Yes he never had the skills to be championship caliber but he was still a very crafty fighter and he really was game to scrap with anyone in his prime.
@Haze2121Ай бұрын
“Never had the skills to be championship caliber” … He literally fought for the belt twice and went to a decision once on a few days notice. Wtf do you mean not championship caliber? That’s literally the definition of being a champion caliber fighter 💀💀 New mma fans are a different breed of dumb lmao.

@ yet guys like Daniel Cormier and a bunch of fighters and journalists have literally said the same thing…

2019 was his year Till knockout. Handing Ben Askren his first loss, beating the shit out of Nate.

@@Haze2121 I agree with you. People only disrespect and hate him because he became confidant about himself during a certain time in his career. I think it was the match ups in his career that always played against him because the UFC is all about being well rounded, but they the UFC is also all about favoring wrestlers to market their brand. I think Jorge is a one of the best strikers in his division but he lack the ground game. That is his demise in the sport. This pod cast with him talking to Usman is actully pretty cool because it shows that they actually respect each other with them talking on many topics about the sport. What I am glad to hear when they spoke about getting KO'd unexpectedly. How you can be on top of your game and winning the fight, and then unexpectedly get KO'd out of no where. This is what most people don't get to see because about fighters and how they can win and lose and the circumstances changes in their career based on one punch. Most fans jump on the bandwagon on what the UFC and media puts out and they are calling everyone CASUALS because they don't want to address a true solid fan and get into the history of the UFC as a sport in a debate. They would rather be sheep's to the what the modern media puts out.

@@Haze2121he’s not champion calibre at all. He only got those fights after the flying knee because he shot up in popularity.

Jorge's biggest mistake in his fight career is that he should have never started from 155lbs division. He's a natural 17Olbs fighter. In my opinion if he fought his whole life as a Welterweight then his win loss ratio would have been better and he might have become at least interim champ of the Welterweight division.
