Something of note from the Conference League game… RENATO VEIGA. It may not be right now, but give him a few more months and this guy can certainly break into the “A team”. Always looks electric, technically sound, and is ALWAYS the superior athlete in his duels. I don’t want to put too much pressure on the you guy, but his versatility, work rate, aggression, progressive passing and vision is class. LB, LCB, DM, it doesn’t matter, just get this man in the pitch and he’ll make an impact.

Sancho is still out starting LW. don't get it twisted. 1 bad game doesn't automatically mean he deserves to be bench by Mudryk. we have seen it with Madooks. 3 bad performance (back-to-back) and yet he still started over Neto. if we are going to be consistent Sancho still needs to start over Mudryk.

Which keeps Nkunku as a 10. It will also help minimize situations where palmer is man marked. If we have two great creators and scorers like Palmer and Nkunku,nobody will be man marked

I believe that Palmer has to play higher up front and not coming so back to take ball. This will help me do some magic and break away from pressing. And can score goals. Sancho and Neto maybe. Jackson pressing high on pitch. Lavia and Caicedo to start without a doubt.Defense the usual but Colwill has to play better. Avoid chaos.

I think this is the BEST set of questions asked by a journalist in a very long time. Plus I think Enzo Fernandez is a deep lying playmaker. His defensive flaws are a problem that is why Caicedo is better there because that defensive reliability is crucial in that position. I think that is what Enzo really needs to work on and he’ll become much better. I do like his passing range in the game against panathanikos though!

Maresca system doesn't train players to shoot and score from distance which isn't of any advantage. We have seen Chelsea struggling playing against 10 men which is not the same with other Teams like Liverpool. Maresca needs to work more on this his system.

reece james can not invert, we saw it in pre season when he couldnt even escape the press , he will not get into shooting positions because he cant, it didnt work in pre season it wont work now, the only full back that can invert to the maximum is cucureilla , he is press resistent and his passing range is impressive, that is what you need in a full back that inverts, reece james doesnt suit that role, your analysis is totally wrong. press resistent full backs are needed for the inverted roles not shot power, if that was the case rico lewis wouldnt be inverting kyle walker would have been the one

I think you’re vastly underestimating what James is capable of. Thinking he’s not press resistant based on pre season when he just came back from surgery isn’t wise. He could deffo play as a B2B if his fitness levels were there.
