3:20 ranged accuracy drops 2% per tile and if i remember correctly an extra 15% if you have a small obstacle between you and your target and 30% for medium obstacles . I don't remember if the obstacle penalty stacks for each obstacle . the passive Constant practice (second skill on the tree ) helps a bit

I hope your Ranger run goes more smoothly than my current one lol. I need to vent here because nobody else would understand xD. I was like "yeah Ranger/Spears would be nice to try out" and choose Dirwin for his Trait, only to realize a bit to late i need to finds spears Treatise 1. Not big Deal i said to myself unaware at the time that Mannshire does indeed not sell the right book. >:( Stubbornly I'm still playing what is essentially a lvl 9 character with the stats of lvl 14, suffering my way through Tier 3 dungeons in hopes to find the forbidden esoteric knowledge wich would allow one to master the unimaginable art of holding a stick with a knife attach to it at the end. And I'm not spending my skillpoits in other trees as i want to get the Ranged/Spears mastery achievements. Any help/tips would be welcomed. Thank you for you attention.

@INickster I got you! I believe the osbrook sergeant still teaches spears. He sits inside the elders' building. If he no longer teaches it, then go to mannshire. Pop into the big building at the top. Once inside, talk to the dude sitting at the table to the left. He should sell spears treatise 1 and other treatise 1 books

@@okmallgaming omfg the Sergeamt named oswald in osbrook does indeed teach Spears. I've reached lvl 16 with purely ranged and a few skills in survival. THANK YOU. You spared me so much grief xD. Now the run can go off. Btw i've checked the Mannshire librarian, and he does not sell the spear book.

@INickster nice! Yeah, I wasn't sure about the mannshire book. They removed some ski trainers and added books for sale. I'm so glad to see the spears trainer stayed the same. Gl and have fun!

You can put the moonstone in the purse, and the jeweler in Brynn will buy gems and gold/silver jewelry/valuables for a lot.

I'm interested in finding out when and where (or if) Frost Resistance will ever be applicable. Perhaps when the magic system expands? I forget what the grayed out ones were.

@@SIZModig i think ghosts have caused the frost debuff on me on occasion. But other than that, we have to wait for that magic to be added.

@@okmallgaming Fair, meant value when I wrote sell price, so times 0.15 means sell value of 48.

@KainYusanagi yeah so value is 320. I know enchanted items sell a bit more but it usually sells for 10% of value. So I'm not going to use up bag space.

@@okmallgaming ? It's 15% of the value, not 10%; you can double-check at the blacksmith, if you want. Enchantment as far as I know just increases the direct value. As I said, the sell value is 48, which is 15% of 320; this puts it on a better pricepoint than a good repair Goedendag. Depending on the durability, putting a charge from a Repair Kit into it might be worthwhile for a much better sell price, too.

@KainYusanagi 10% was just a guesstimate. I hear what you are saying, though I just don't need the min maxing of money. If memory serves me correct, I dropped it to free up space for items I consider more valuable.

man i hate people who cheese games. whats the point of playing the game. ive only made it past level 5 once on perma death because im not cheesing. i get playing safe. but why abuse systems? whats the challenge in that? why play perma death if you arent going to be authentic? why not just run around the entire map get 10 levels for free then dungeon crawl? thats basically what you are doing. its not a permadeath playthrough. its a cheese playthough in which you can claim to have not died. lame as hell bro.

@taylorpeay8991 I'm playing for fun, so I don't care. The game difficulty didn't change. And any mistakes will still end my run. My last episode, I killed the troll just to die to a mancather and since dogs. A death still end my runs regardless
