I got a sony a7c ii and I've been on a hunt for a compact ff lens for a while. There's only a few options and tbh none of them are great. A few days ago I finally made up my mind and purchased a 2nd hand Zeiss 35 2.8 for 200e. Yesterday I had it hanging around my neck for the whole day and it was a blast, didn't even feel it. The quality and auto focus is really good for a 9 year old lens with this size. I was also thinking of getting this vilrox 28mm, but its still not out yet.

I own this lens with the updated firmware and there's still a couple issues with it.. I have constant focusing issues with it, even in bright environments, when using it with my A7SII and it straight up just doesn't work at all with my NEX7. I bought the lens because I thought it would make for a great incognito street lens but it just doesn't work reliably enough. Hopefully they can iron out the kinks with another firmware update but as of right now I'm pretty disappointed with this lens.
