The first I saw Rod was with these two guitarists in Riverside, CA. At Lake Alice. Rick Holmstrom was on vacation at the time. They put on a great show! I saw L.A. Holms and Rod many times. The last time with Rick was in Pomona. Saw him changing his shirt at his van. Told him he was showing out. That’s what Pee Wee Crayton always told him. The very last time I saw Rod and the mighty Flyers was in Santa Ana at Original Mikes. Little Henery was on fire that night! Miss seeing this band.

Fantastic! One question: Little Charlie plays an interesting lick at 4:50…….. I think the open g-string is played in a fast way, while he plays some notes on the third and fifth bound at the same time. Does anyone know, if there is a tutorial to learn this kind of lick for example on KZbin!? thanks!
