Disk version of the PS5 is beyond worth it just to have a 4k uhd movie player. Great value, as a quality 4k UHD player is ~$200 USD. It was the same story for myself regarding the PS4 with a blue ray player.

That's just it. Even physical games you don't really own, because most discs these days only have the activation on it which starts a download of the game.

I collect the disc games. I've got some pretty cool steel cases, so I love having the option for disc. Also if I'm in an emergency and need money for survival, they may save my life. There are pros for having disc. Also have siblings that can borrow which is nice.

I always use disks. You save money buying used and if they shut down the game you still have it. You can save around $30 a game because people play through it one time then sell it. You can Easley save $500 a year.

I don't understand why ubisoft doesn't make a prince of persia game like god of war (2018, 2022) style gameplay. More linear focused with occasional side activities to do...faster combat....I think a pop game like that will sell a lot.

I had a digital collection with a company that is too evil to name, and one day they decided to redo their platform and took it all away. I was originally excited with the idea of digital downloads but not after that. A Company can’t take a physical disc back from you.

Buying physical is the only way I get all the games that I don’t **really** need but kinda want to try- grab em on eBay 3 months later. Infinite wealth, Armored core, Jedi survivor, and FF16 are all games that I had a blast with but wouldn’t have paid more than £30 for because I was sceptical in some way, or just didn’t like some choices they made.

I dont like clutter and don't need my room filled with game cases personally. I like the minimalistic feel to my PS5, at first glance you'd have no idea that I have an additional 4tb internal SSD installed with a whopping 205 digital games downloaded to my SSD for me and my family to enjoy without worrying about discs getting scratched, lost, smudged, breaking, etc.. I always buy digital because it makes more sense for me. If I buy a disc, it takes up a lot of space for other things. The same goes for books and CDs. I always choose digital and will continue to do so. Eventually, everything will be digital only, and people need to accept that.

I’m all over the digital games because of the convenience of not having to worry about storing and taking care of and keeping discs safe from damage and having to take them out and put them in the console. Digital is way easier and a lot more convenient to use.

Absolutely use physical discs! That’s the only way you get good deals on games too! Digital are top dollar and rarely go on sale but even then not even close to a gaming store with used copies! With disc I can buy several games a year but otherwise just a few. Crimson desert is what I’m waiting for!!!! Looks amazing! Also with Naughty Dog I don’t care what they release first as long as they’re the developers behind it!! They kick serious a$$!!! I am patiently waiting for TLOU3 and I actually would love to see that serious go on and on and on and on!!! 😂 That’s my take! ✌🏻

I don’t think I’ve used a disc in my ps4/5 since like 2016. I just prefer having them all on the hard drive and swapping games whenever I feel like it without having to change the disc. My friend on the other hand is a collector of the games he plays and has every single game as a disc.

None of Ubisofts games will "meet expectations." They have conditioned their fans to wait to buy. By consistently putting new games on sale as soon as 3 weeks after launch. So if you're not a super fan of the franchise, why not wait and save 30%.

I've been fully digital for about a decade now. The last physical game I played came bundled in with my Xbox One. This generation I went for the PS5 digital, and my Series X has never seen a disc (as I have a dedicated 4K player for films.)

A Rayman remake is fine. Its probably something they should've thought of years ago instead of the stupidly big games they've made of late. I will always be a disk owner as long as they are putting them out. Nostalgia and the ability to sale the ones I no longer care to play. I only get digital for the games that I know that I will go back to play. As for the ps5 pro, if the price dropped down to a reasonable price, I may trade my current in. Til then I'll be playing mine to the wheels fall off. Great Content btw
