No one fucks with José Feliciano. He's just as badass as any other hard rock guitarist out there. Hell, he was a Reindhart-style jazz player before this concert.

This stellar cover of classic Hendrix along with Jose's other lifetime masterpieces should have placed him without question into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Please excuse - not only do they appear deaf but blinder than Jose. Hendrix once praised Jose during a performance in New York therefore a leaf could be taken from Jimi's book and bestow Jose with what is rightfully deserved.

holy shit dude, why didn't you make a hard rock band and at least one whole album like this!!. "felíz navidad" is ok as a christmas song, but this is awesome.
@aarongauthier8173 Жыл бұрын
Ok … I mean, this is amazing. Just from a technique standpoint, Jose simulates Hendrix’s moves on the whammy bar-with his crazed up-and-down-the-frets thing, and then with the tuning pegs at the end. And then for good measure, Jose shows us a one-handed version of Eddie Van Halen’s intro to Eruption at 2:29. Not to mention the wicked first-position riffs and trills.

It’s a real shame this king is only known for Feliz Navidad. All radio stations should play this every Christmas instead.

El artista popular Latino más talentoso de su generación. Jose Feliciano, I think he is the most talented Latino popular artist of his generation
@almirantevaltjen678 Жыл бұрын
No, sir. He is not a " latino". Mr . Feliciano is Puerto Rican and a US born citizen who was forced to do more music in Spanish when the music industry producers found out he was not "white" even though he is a white person from Spaniard ancestry. That is the main reason he did not make too many english records. There were and are many but many musicians from the American Spanish speaking countries who would have had great success in the USA ( not América) if it wouldn't had been for the discrimination they had faced from the Anglo speaking society in the USA.
@carlosaleman1135 Жыл бұрын
@@almirantevaltjen678 José Montserrate Feliciano Garcia was born on September 10, 1945, in Lares, Puerto Rico. Latino and its variations refer to a person with origins from anywhere in Latin America (Mexico, South and Central America) and the Caribbean.
@almirantevaltjen678 Жыл бұрын
Latino people are from the region of Lacio,Italy. Those are the latin people by their denonym. The Spanish speaking countries in America would be "Hispanic America" because of their language and some Spaniar ancestry on a percentage of their population depending on the country of origin." Latin America" as is known now a day's would be erroneously Encompassed by any country in America except the USA and parts the English speaking Canada.
@carlosaleman1135 Жыл бұрын
@@almirantevaltjen678 Unlike Hispanic, which refers to language, Latino is a term that refers to geography. It is used to signify that a person is from or descended from people from Latin America. It is, in fact, a shortened form of the Spanish phrase latinoamericano - Latin American, in English. yo soy y me siento Latino e hispano , muy orgulloso de mis ancestros Españoles y feliz de ser un ciudadano de la unión de estados Norteamericanos!!, porque norteamericanos son también mexico y Canadá y Americanos, desde Canadá a argentina
@almirantevaltjen678 Жыл бұрын
Not all the Hispanic countries inhabitants identify with such "latino" term that has been coined by the USA to encompass any spanish resident in that particular nation. A simplistic term with peyorative connotation to a very diverse region.
