I've never seen that in-game interview with him, I loved it. Jose would have looked great in a Red Sox uniform

The tragic death of Miami Marlins ace José Fernández hits home for everyone but especially for the Cuban community who looked to him as a second son, an embodiment of the American dream. He will be greatly missed, and I think had he lived he could have been something of a bridge in possibly resolving US/Cuba relations...He was bilingual, handsome, and extremely marketable...he also loved this Country with all his heart, and he never took his freedoms for granted. When reports came out that he had cocaine in his system as well as two times the legal limit of alcohol, it changed how many people saw him. But not me, his life and his impact go beyond his fatal mistake and I think we should remember the Joy he brought to the game, how much he loved to pitch, the passion in which he went about it...it was special, and sometimes we don't always realize how special someone is until they leave us. We love you José, rest in Paradise ace
