Very nice music video, the message I can interpret is that no matter who we are, where we are from, our status or age, we all have our worries, dark moments that we struggle to find a light that can illuminate us again, we all wish for companionship, happiness and everything to be free from crosses that mark us as imperfect or defective, but in the end, we resort to silence because those who we seek light from give us the face that repeatedly remind us of our pain, and Jose is here to tell you, cast some light and know that you'll be alright, things will be better, as we all are on the same boat.

After listening to this song for like one hundred times, I feel like I'm ready to write a love letter to this song and music video. The different people in the video all have different background stories. Some of them look like "troublemakers", some look like they just had their wedding and some are looking like business men. But in this certain situation, they all experience the same: They feel sad for things that happened in the past and are thinking about it while sitting in a car. The scene itself is very chill, but it still shows so many emotions. No-one is acting like a stereotype, they all feel sad or guilty about past experiences or mistakes they did. Their life is going on as the moving landscapes behind the window. This song is so chill and relaxed, yet so intensive and haunting. Especially José who is sitting in the middle seat. He's like the narrator who sees all the sadness and pain and sings about it quietly. The lyrics match the scenes perfectly. As the day bleeds into nightfall, his voice gets louder and it calms down in the end. It's an older song from an album that was released in 2003, that's why the video quality isn't on a modern level. But I think this even makes the video better. It's shot like a one-taker and the music video isn't covered with fast transitions. This whole flair reminds me a lot of long car rides through the silent night. Overall a great song which has so much more meaning than you'd think when you first hear it.

I really love the level of understanding you have about this song. i have to agree with you in all the things that you said here. in my opinion this is a song with a strongest base and feelings, the fact that is "a old school" video makes him better, i really love the way it was recorded and more... I really love drive in the night with this song playing in the back, and well there are always tears that jump out from my eyes. Well that's all. Thanks

I was brought here, not by Life is Strange but by Zero 7 (Who have a remix of this song) 2 years ago, who then brought me to this song. But when I heard this in Life is Strange, my god, I sat in Max's room for over 10 minutes just listening to this song over and over, I have always loved this song and I love that he's getting more fans of his music due to it being in LiS. For some strange reason this song calms me down in a particular way. In a way where I can accept hardiships and sadness because they are part of the path. It makes you feel like it's normal not to be alright for a moment. We always tends to deny sadness, but good music helps you to accepts it, giving you some hope meanwhile. This bittersweet, soft feeling, I find it amazing.

Life is strange is such an amazing emersive game. When my wife had become violent cos of mild psychosis, and it started affecting the children, I asked for help from social services. Immediately, being a man, they ignored police records and considered me the perpetrator because I was a man. I felt betrayed by my country. Never saw my kids after that, and durong the lonely weeks following I emersed myself in this game. This song reminds me of that time.

Since everyone shares it's experience. When I was young and still at school, I was in a religious school, Jewish in fact. When we were 16, they proposed to our class to visit the camps in Poland. Yeah, the N*zi camps. We were in France so it wasn't too far. We were too young to do it. But hey, being idiots, we thought it could be great and that we were ready for it, plus it could be a great experience! I sure wasn't ready at all. Though, this song in particular was the song I listened hours after hours during bus travels between two camps. I don't remember much of it, neither much of what happened back then at school. I forgot everything because it wasn't a good period for me. It's complicated to listen to that song now, since it was a difficult period of my life, plus the meaning I had attached to it back then was heavy. But I still listen. Sometimes I cry without knowing why, listening to this. Maybe my subconscious knows why, but I forgot. Now, when I go to the Life is Strange main menu, I don't remember much of what choices I did, or what was my exact experience, but I feel pain. I cry. And it's the same thing that happens with this music. Pain without knowing why, but it's there. Thank you.

I can say that I am proud being a gamer because of the music. Life is Strange brings powerful emotions especially in the beginning of EP4. I think games are more awesome than movies and i still dont get people who claim that games are wasting of time. Those people havent actually played any game so they cannot even know. I like when great games with awesome story like this one leave you feel sick after finishing a story like you would have broken with girlfriend.

I have always been fascinated by last words ………………(enter the whole book) ….. I will never know what Alaskas last words were, maybe she didn’t say anything at all but to me they were “to be continued” . Thomas Edison’s last words were “ it’s very beautiful over there” I don’t know where there is but I believe it is somewhere, and I hope it is beautiful
