You know that this is probably the most unintelligent question known to mankind right? kk, just making sure before it's answered... first of all... "why"? or did you actually mean "how"? Well..... he only started 5 years ago and just recently went solo. Sony used his "Heartbeats" song in a TV commercial (On KZbin) and the producers or "House" used this version of Teardrop in the show. Other than that... he is just really good. If you need more proof... look up Carlos Santana.
