@@elninomile He hits it into the fairway. That is controlling it. If he wouldn't control it, the ball would end up rough or out of the play most times. But he controls that shot shape so well he finds the fairway. You can hit draws or fades even without control. It has nothing to do about it as even pro who tries to hit straight shot might accidentally end up hitting fade. You can call that power fade or slice, but he controls it extremely well.

Just because he has learned to start the ball 40 yards left and slices it back to the fairway doesnt mean he isn't slicing that thing. And the ones that he didnt start far enough left really got away from him. Guys will hit intentionally hooks around trees and end up where they want, but those are still a hook
