That percentage is how much farther you drive depending on elevation. 1240 x. 00116 is 1.5 percent. 1.5 percent of 250 is just around 4. If you normally drive the ball 250 yards at sea level, you will drive the ball 254 yards in Mesa. In Denver you will drive it about 265. There is a course in Colorado at 10000 feet of elevation. At that height you can drive the ball almost 30 yards further.
