I think you're right in implying it was a cameraman/director's decision to minimize (not completely fail to acknowledge -- but close to that, yeah) Billy Preston. I have wondered if just possibly there was some kind of legal thing going on, like maybe he was under contract to somebody and wasn't really supposed to be doing this -- I don't think so, but I wouldn't completely rule it out.

"John greatest song writer of all time." Yep, along with the other one. Nominating 'the best' among these two (or more broadly), is quite naive. Without even considering the outstanding talents of RS and GH, PM and JL could never have risen to their individual heights, without the input of the other, not least because they plainly brought such different ideas to the table. Their solo work was brilliant, but their combined work was the best of any band. I realise 'the author' of each "Lennon/McCartney" is an agreed fact, but anyone should realise that there was a reason why ALL of these two guys songs were nominally credited as "Lennon/McCartney".

So basically the setlist for the rooftop concert was as follows: Get Back (Take 1) Get Back (Take 2) Don't Let Me Down (Take 1) = this is the version primarily used for creating the naked version. I've Got a Feeling (Take 1) = this is the version used for the album mix and one of two versions used for creating the naked mix. One After 909 = this is the version used for both the album and naked mixes. Dig a Pony = this is the version used for both the album and naked mixes. God Save the Queen I've Got a Feeling (Take 2) = this is the other version used for creating the naked mix. Don't Let Me Down (Take 2) = this is the other version used for creating the naked version. Still very relevant after 50 years. Looking back, was there ever a better way for them to play for the world for the last time

Um momento memorável na história da música mundial! Os Beatles foram como um cometa que passou pela terra e que nunca mais veremos algo semelhante!

I'm still slowly working my way up their discography and am on Beatles For Sale. The difference in musicianship from that to this is astronomical. DAMN IT why couldn't they get along and continue evolving together?

The women that's why, the unwritten rule was always "no women allowed in the recording studio" which was easy enough to obey while John was married to Cynthia, Paul was with Jane Asher. Once Yoko entered the picture she became part of the recording process, which Paul did not like, so he started bringing around Linda Eastman when he was with her, Paul now will say "John broke up the Beatles" but it was all 4, George left and Ringo left, then sometime in late 1969 or during 1970, either way it was before Let it Be was released, John announced he was done, with half of the writing team gone Paul basically said "okay that's it, we're done" another crucial element too was that Brian Epstein died in 1968 while they were in India, so Paul basically had to fill in the "daddy shoes" when it was needed, George was getting mad because his songs were continually getting turned down by Lennon and McCartney, on the White Album he had contributed 4 songs, on Abbey Road 2, out of all four, George was the better prepared out of all 4 for the break up because he had songs written up for his solo career. Plus he worked with Ringo quite a bit, they were best mates all the way up to his death, he and Paul were able to reconcile well before his death, to the point where Paul was there as he was dying in his bed. Paul and Ringo are still touring, I don't believe they've done any work together since the Anthology albums from the 1990s.
