I'm from the United States and the propaganda is really bad here... Countries that the US doesn't like including the DPRK, China, and Cuba are completely demonized and sometimes even compared to regimes like Nazi Germany at times. North Korea has it worse than any other country and propaganda portrays the DPRK as being some kind of massive prison led by savage animals where everyone starves and suffers constantly. It's sad to see other countries be portrayed this way. North Korea is a beautiful country full of great people and rich culture. Here in the West everyone wants to see countries like China and North Korea collapse and burn to the ground, everyone hates these beautiful countries more than anything. I wish people wouldn't believe everything they hear...

All it takes to turn someone pro DPRK is to show the actual history of the Southern puppet dictatorship turned bourgeois democracy. The US denied a democratic reunification and election to the Koreans and immediately created a dictatorship made up of former collaborators of the Japanese colonial gov. People who sold their own into slavery allowed a new empire to poison their water, destroy their crops, and killed 15-20% of the Korean population. Attempted Genocide, dictatorship, economic exploitation, and etc are very compelling arguments against the Southern state coupled with the fact that the DPRK economy fared better than the South for a few decades until their last economic allies were either eliminated or betrayed them. The starvation and dystopian economic situation and Southern rise to prominence has been openly admitted to be the fault of Western influence according to former President Jimmy Carter and several economists.
