I like how the medley sums up the story of the game. Starts off somber with the CIF realizing cutting off the Federation is not going to be quick and decisive, then Hitman team starts bringing the main forces back from the brink (Uphill Every Way, Sirens of Defeat, Machine of the Mantle). The Federation responds with the Peacekeepers and identifying Hitman as a major threat (Peacekeepers 1, Cold War). The desperation of the Federation with heavy retaliation for a moment (Valkyrie's Call, Open Season, Consequence of Power), but then the CIF makes the final push to liberate Presidia despite the destruction of the land. Also shoutout to the violinist at 19:23, you nailed it and you knew it.

One of the things that has always fascinated me about orchestral music is how, with a large enough, skilled enough group, the music sounds perfect - almost machine-tuned - and creates this strange, surreal feeling of knowing it's a one-take recording and not a polished, artificial studio recording of machine-assembled loops. This performance does that for me.
