An oldie and a goodie. I first heard it on the film Saved many years ago. The sentiments in the song are so relatable. There are a few people in my life whom I could see myself singing this to. I think it's one you can share at different stages of relationship for different reasons. It's one of those songs that changes depending on who you are when listening to it.

This guy is the best singer songwriter since John Lennon. You have to see him live.... just totally amazing one man show with all his loops and synthesisers and painting murals on the wall while he is singing. Followed him since 1995 or thereabouts. Seen him live in Seattle and Edinburgh. Wow he is a genius really!

This is one of my all-time favorite songs which was dedicated by my husband to his work colleague a little after my stepfather's death. I never shared that I knew and I never looked at him the same way. The betrayal doesn't bother me as much anymore. It allowed me to end things and I accepted my life and my path apart from him.
