@@bigmacintosh1766 Watch some clips of him on LaToya's show and him speaking about Michael after his death. Joe gets choked up reminiscing about Michael and the family. Also the interview of Joe and Katherine after Mike was arrested in 2003 was a good look at how Joe really felt about his kids.

I guess that’s the thing too, will never understand their family environment because every family is different and we’re all not perfect my parents did some horrible things to me too that I’ll never forget but all you can do is forgive them and move on. Try and stay in good terms. And if you don’t you can move on without them. 😅 micheal chose to keep him in his life after everything that happened

@@meekermoo752not really. His security guards said his father needed to make appointments if they wanted to see him. Thry were not close. And he left nothing on his will for him, only for his mother and children.

I know that alot of people say mean things about Joe because of the way he treated his kids but if it wasn't for him, we would've NEVER known the Jackson family. Thank you Joe for sharing your talented family with the world.
@Mari-xq1nm
@Mari-xq1nm 3 жыл бұрын
actually if it wasn't for the Jackson kids talent (especially Michael) the jackson 5 wouldnt have become the jackson 5. If Joe was the one who "made them famous" and successful he still shouldve been more loving and less harsh. Heck, he wouldnt even let them call him dad for God's sake, never told them i love you, never cuddled them. But what did he do really? beat his kids with iron cords, belts, and other objects while they were rehearsing, never let them play with other kids and have a childhood, and so on. Stop justifying abuse, just because he made them successful doesnt mean hes a good or iconic person, he chose fame and money over his family, if he really cared about them he wouldnt have cheated on his wife twice or more times and wouldnt treat his kids like crap to the extent of fame and money

Joe Jackson was typical father from this era hate how ppl try to make him sound like a monster he kept his kids out the streets kept them on right track up until recently most kids got spankings comin up that was super normal.. If u ask me he did a dam good job with them he seen potential they didn’t see in themselves made them superstars.. I wish I had a Joe Jackson as my father.. Specially bein black a lot of father left their wife and kids and never look back he help raise 9 very successful kids.. Michael has a very strange personality and he put a lot of the blame on his dad but he also gave his dad props but ppl don’t focus on that.. Joe Jackson is the definition of expecting the best out your kids and actually working to make sure they achieve that
