In addition to Joseph’s wife, daughter, and parents, keep his siblings in your thoughts and prayers. Joseph was the eldest, and some of his siblings are still very youthful, and throughout their lives, they’ve always had big brother Joseph around. The image of uncle Yohan gently carrying his niece from the bereaved widow’s arms, and nudging his cousin out of the way so his sister-in-law can stand in front, it was so very vivid and touching. Joseph need not worry about his wife and daughter. He sang the words “Nothing’s gonna harm you, not while I’m around.” Though he’s no longer around in the flesh, he’s still here in spirit in the hearts of his loved ones. And Joseph’s siblings are around, as well as his parents, aunties, uncles, cousins, and grandparents-and all will protect his wife and daughter. Yes indeed Joseph, “Don’t worry about a thing, ‘Cause every little thing gonna be alright.”

I customarily listen to his Grandfather the Legendary Robert Nesta & uncle Ziggy; but I must say I started listening to Jo Mersa & I LOVE his lyrics, ABSOLUTELY AMAZED.... RIP young man 🕊 . What an awful thing to say. The USA offers opportunities that don’t exist in many places on this earth. I even know white Europeans from England and Germany who live in the US due to the boundless opportunities. The US is a free market economy, and it’s very vast in size, and it has a large population. These are factors that makes it conducive and attractive to hardworking immigrants. And it’s also unfair to imply that the Marleys don’t come to Jamaica for any other reason other than internment (you are so wicked). They are a large family, and members of their family are in Jamaica all the time for various reasons. Finally, if you weren’t such a heathen you’d appreciate that in the Bible, the earthy remains of Joseph the son of Israel/Jacob & ruler of Egypt, was taken out of Egypt along with the Israelites when they were freed from bondage in Egypt. So the tradition of repatriating the earthly remains to land of birth isn’t something unusual. So there you have it, Joseph Marley, just like Joseph ruler of Egypt, just like Bob Marley himself, was brought to his place of birth for internment.
