He could still use hamon, he just didn't live a hamon lifestyle. You gotta live the lifestyle to appear young at old age. But i agree, if joseph kept his young appearance and vigor, he would be a major help in part 4. I think it'd only be a minor change in part 3, nothing major.

But here is the thing..he can't keep being the main character or "the show stealer" in every part of jojo..the idea of jojo is to show many different main characters in many part and many generations from time to time but still their all being family..i get that Joseph has sum diff from all the joestars..and that he survived many part and years by breaking the "joestar die young curse" but characters do get old..and every jojo in it's part should have their role in it..and I personally think that Joseph had more than any of em (I'm not complaining tho he is my fav joestar) plus he stopped hamon training bc after he married suizy Q.. He wanted to age w her and to also avoid any awkward issues between them..which I respect it :-)

Well is non cannon, but appeared in JoJo's Venture PSX, in arcade you select Joseph Part2 the story is Alessi used his stand to make Joseph a baby as Polnareff, but being old just returned him to Part2 and Alessi feared saying "at hisnold age needs more energy" and escaped, then the arcade let you battle against some Crusaders and at the end fighting against Alessi, in the end he confess: "Some part of me wants to get back."
