A bit difficult to hear and understand what he means. And he doesn't seem to see that what he does to the voodoo-stricken man is to give him an antidote in the form of a positive prayer-(self)suggestion. It means much that it comes from him, from without the victim, since he is in too much fear to suggest himself on his own accord. In fear one cannot be objective, because of the sympathetic hormones rushing around influencing the brain and other organs.The fact that we can change facts/states/situations/heal does not men that we are ABLE to without any further ado at any time and situation/state. That is why we need another, for it to be objective. Someone who healed in body psychotherapy said AFTERWARDS: "I could have done that myself, if only I had known the techniques"Maybe she could have, but she hadn't and probably wouldn't. And I don't believe she could have, because she didn't have the knowledge, was too starved from malabsorption, too filled with anxiety. Ppl who have not studied and learnt, draw false conclusions ignorant of things like the psychical positive influence of an I working with and caring for one; that make s world of difference through the life force and the exchange of energies, and filling up their need for human vitality and soul substance. Theory and hypothesis are not practice. I wonder how he could promote/recommend drinking and calling some idiots... doesn't sit so well.And how on earth he can claim to know that there is no fate or pre-decided karmically.

This was an error by Dr. Murphy, it appears that all our spiritual teachers fell for this deception which occurred around the turn of the 15 th century. It has been our greatest mistake to suppose that the mystics would have known yet absolutely made no mention of suns, planets, solar systems, galaxies, universe, gravity, outer space. They wrote about stars, a singular sun for greater light to rule the day, a singular moon not as a reflector but a lesser light to rule the night and they spoke of the firmament. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalms 19.1. Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass. Job 37.18. 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Isaiah 40:22. Yet some refer to circle as the oblate spheriod or ball. As anyone could, when told to fetch that circle think of getting a ball? And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.” Joshua 10.13. Yes of course the Bible is told in parable, epistles, allegories, poems. Biblical authors clothed their stories in the garb of history and made no reference to what we are told is the truth of the universe, not because they were illiterate to science and scientific principles, or mistaken or just plain forgot. They failed to use them as reference because they don't exist. Unfortunately our Spiritual teachers were indoctrinated(as most of us have been) and believed, therefore including it as an afterthought in the Bible, yet never once using scriptures to bolster their claim. Simply because there are no scriptures that support such nonsense.

Dr Murphy speaks of matters that many people would find too incredible to believe. . But when I hear him speak on matters of the supernatural and God so simply and matter of factly, I know and believe it to be absolutely true. And he speaks of God without any name... So it doesn't limit his discourses to any particular religion or create barriers... I think he was a truly spiritual man with an old soul and no arrogance whatsoever - that's so common with preachers.
