Der brother Joseph, Deeply grateful for your work (which I can only grasp in tiny bits on KZbin) I'd like to comment on your quotation of Acts 15 concerning the rebuilding the "fallen house" of David. The tabernacle and even the tent (as an interpretation) makes us from our contemporary view think of the tent of meeting. Now the tent of meeting was never David's! And if the text referres to the rebuilding of Jewish reign (self-government ending the exile) or even a coming king, then it is not referring to the tent of the presence. In the fallen house/tent of David there was no temple, he was forbidden to build one. But the context in acts is completely different than referring to the rebuilding of the state of Israel. The ending of the exodus, the ending of the babel-chaos and the gathering of the nations startet at Pentecost. So what to do with all the gentile converts?? How are they to behave? v13 god chose from the gentiles a people "to bear his name!" The PROVETEXT for this is Amos 9. where the rest of "adam" seek the lord and god claims Them as his own! Not without a reason this very James writes in his letter in the very first verse: greetings to the twelve tribes dispersed throughout the world. Does he speak to the circumcision only? No, to all Israel! Including the (incrafted) gentiles. So, to speak with Paul, what does "all israel" really mean?? I'm amazed at what happenes in Israel right now in the messianic movement and I believe most of the Christian community does not realize it - a very very sad thing. A last request I have (now for the third and last time) for all my heathen brothers and sisters who enjoy and are blessed by your reading and interpreting the Torah on KZbin! We (this time the gentiles 😊) would like to hear your reading in the right order, not a part of Genesis, then from Leviticus and then from exodus. WE CANNOT IDENTIFY THE ORDER BY THE NAMES of the portions!! But we could by numbers. So if you want us to follow you on youtube please do us a favour and number them so we can keep track. Amen! Hallelujah! Not one grain will fall to the ground to be lost (paraphrase). The Holy Spirit just helped me make the connection between Amos, Isaiah 55, and Psalm 98. Amos 9 13 “The days will come,” says Adonai, “when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the one treading grapes the one sowing seed. Sweet wine will drip down the mountains, and all the hills will flow with it. Isaiah 55:1“All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You without money, come, buy, and eat! Yes, come! Buy wine and milk without money - it’s free! So no wonder the mountains and hills will sing for joy: Isaiah 55:12 12 Yes, you will go out with joy, you will be led forth in peace. As you come, the mountains and hills will burst out into song, and all the trees in the countryside will clap their hands. Psalm 98 8 Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing together for joy No wonder ADONAI is angry and earth will be consumed in the fire of His passion: Isaiah 66:15-16 and Zephaniah 3:8 As His word says, ADONAI's words will not return void and they will be fulfilled faithfully. Noahide thesis is wrong. Shabbat was before the law. Abel gave first fruits before the law. Noah knew kosher before the law. Gentiles arent called to half ‘God’ but all the law! How many Jewish laws are covered by Paul, Peter, and James teachings? Our gentile worship is wrong and evil bent. Is it wrong for us to run to the ‘God of the Jews’? What portion of Isa 58 should the gentiles omit? isn’t all scripture holy? Wasn’t Abraham called to be a blessing to all nations? Don’t the grafted branches drink from the same roots with the stump?
