It's been a while since I have been to church. Being in the military has made it hard to motivate myself to locate and go to the nearest service. It's hard to be happy when you don't go to church. When I watched this, it was if my soul was immediately replenished and I had such a feeling of comfort I haven't felt in so long. I cried throughout this movie! I know this church is true. As a Muslim, i respect the story because it shows bravery, passion, persistence, and serenity to the fellow Mormons, even us Muslims were also oppresed a long time ago with the arab pagans throwing stones at the believers, and expelling them from Makkah and Medina. The only way for you to know for yourself that this story is true, is to ask God in prayer to reveal an answer of whether if it's true or not, to you. I have received my own personal answer from God, and I know that this story is true. And the more I learn from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, more truths are revealed to my heart and mind. We can wrest the scripture to justify our own view/belief, but we need the Holy Ghost to justify to us the truth of things and to teach us to understand the bible as well. If you a familiar with the story of Stephen in Acts 6 and 7, he had the Spirit that taught and justify the truth to him. His accusers were wrestling with the scripture to justify their own views and up to killing him.

Do you know that the Bible mentions that the Book of Mormon will come about in the last days. It happened. Also members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is the same as it was set up 2000 years ago. Priest, deacons, 12 Apostles. But in the end its the Holy Spirit that changes hearts. I know of all the churches my mother ever took me to, the holy spirit It is very strong in the lds church. You can find the truth if you really want to. One can not go by what people say, one must seek the truth while studying and praying, seek the missionaries with a humble heart. One has to be open, humble, meek and ask God. Joseph Smith was talking to a lady about the church in the late 1820's, she got really hung up on the church. The lady said something like, I want a church that loves. I don't remember the details, but Mr. Smith said, that is our faith, loving one another. The devil has done a dark work in keeping people from learning about the things of God, Christ church. The answers are not in this world, the answer is in having enough faith to humble yourself and seek it and let the holy spirit guide you. The spirit is strong in my life. We all have free will to choose. But I would like to say in the book of 2nd Timothy: Verse 7 says.... Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The church we have learned a great deal of things unknown to the world. If it wasn't for Joseph I would not grasp the book of revelation. Because of the church and the holy spirit I can tell you what will happen, before it happens. War with Iran and the USA will be divided into 4 countries about 2024-25. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I am thankful for my blessings and it is my prayer that we will share those blessings together in heaven. There is a reason why LDS members say we are the church, it was restored and we have the holy spirit, we are the saints, that is mentioned in the book of revelation. Yes. I learned a lot from this movie. Joseph Smith was possessed by a demon and revealed a false reality about how God revealed Himself to Joseph. That explains why the LDS church is so contradictory to everything taught in the Bible: because Joseph Smith didn't see God, he saw Satan the deceiver.

One of my most cherished memories from growing up in Utah is the constant presence of church teachings in our lives. Whether it was going downtown Salt Lake to watch the Joseph Smith movies with Sister Kimball or actively participating in the activities for young women and young men, those experiences always made a profound impact on me. Whenever I watched those movies, I could feel the spirit touching my heart and soul, reaffirming the truthfulness of the gospel. Even up to this day I don't understand why many people hate us, and are willing to put up a fight when we aren't willing. I completely understand why the Lord ask us to love our enemies which is one of the hardest things to accomplish, but maybe one day all that hatred will leave. Remember brothers and sisters don't judge others, respect them and show them love even when they won't repay you the same. I just watched this video on the app, and I felt the power of the Holy Ghost. I prayed unto heavenly father, to know if this is true and it is! I am a returning member. When Joseph Smith was told that god does not give revelations anymore, it inspired me to think about the verse where it says in the past, present, and future. God is the same. Well, god did reveal things in the past, so to be the same, he must reveal things today and in the future! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will never fall. There will be many Saints that's fall keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Doctrine alive. Many of the Saints inside and outside of the church will be gathered in the last day when the Lord gathers his people before the Dreadful day of the burning of the non-believers and the wicked that choose not to repent. But things Joseph Smith done and the Apostle Paul done setting up the church was a hard chore but they were determined to follow the Lord's Council how the church Jesus Christ was to be set up with the Everlasting gospel. The only one that should be worried is the non-believers and those who mock only because of their ignorance. Continue to educate yourself in the scriptures daily. I was a catholic until two weeks ago when I finally baptized as a Mormon. Being baptized was such a wonderful experience and I will never forget what i felt or when i received the Holy Ghost. No this is a lie. You guys are falling for the one world religion that is spoken about in revelation. There is only one true Jesus Christ and He is Gods Son the second person of the trinity he is the Godman. Paul warns us about another Jesus in 2 Cor Ch 11. Also warns us about another gospel in Gal 1. What does John say in 1 John 4:3 If anyone denies the deity of our lord Jesus Christ, he is not of God he is an antichrist. The bible warns us over and over again not be deceived. This movie has nothing to do with the true Jesus Christ nor is it leading anyone to salvation nor is it biblical at all. My husband Bill joined the Air Force after we got married. So going to Basic Training, and then we went to Germany. My Dad was in the Marines and found a group that got together in his unit. My husband and I usually found a place not far from base or on base. You always have your Book of Mormon and Bible to read if you are not going to a meeting. You can pray all the time also about everything. I know both Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ LIVES and they are there for us and Loves us.

This history of our Church made me shed a lot of tears. Heartbreaking and at the same time heart-warming history. Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God.

When the opportunity came upon me to go to Navoo in my youth and again when my young adult hood i took it both times . Went to the temple got to see what the inside looked liked , even went to the jail where Joseph, and the brothers where asked to go . The spirit felt in both places felled my heart with grif and joy . I am truly greatful to be raised as a member of the church, if you my beloved friends get a change to go to any of the church sits shown in this movie and other places do such . I know that the gospel is true God lives he is the every lasting , his son died on the cross for our sins maybe forgiving and fine peace and everlasting life though him . I recently went to Nauvoo to participate in the Nauvoo and British pageants. These things show the Lord's glory and his light. They show that the Lord does not forget anyone, and they show that even a simple farm boy can become a great prophet. They show truth.

That's also why I converted... My testimony is rooted in one night, where the missionaries skipped other appointments and spent 3 hours answering every question that I had ever had about religion, all with scripture from the BoM and the Bible. They taught me about a loving and merciful Heavenly Father that I KNEW, but other churches had pretended doesn't exist. I felt the Spirit SO strongly that night, stronger than I ever felt it before, and I knew then that the gospel is true. :)

I just read your Testimony. I saw you wrote this 12 yrs ago. I hope you can still see this and are holding on to the rod firmly and you are well. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us so much. Life has never been easy for me after my parents became divorced i lost a lot of faith and trust in the lord and our eternal destination, but after much bad choices and the void of the gospel in my life and constant prayers and love from my ward i was able to read the book of mormon and recieved a testimony and answer to my prayers, in which i returned now i'm stronger than ever standing here a witness of the gospel and a soon to be Elder of the church of Jesus Christ in Comayaguela, Honduras.

I was a member of the Church and even tho i am not in the church anymore, BUT I still witness in regards to the lessons i learned with welcome and open minded...this is one of the Gospel i found out with most warmth and happiest people involved, we all know Jesus dwells in a happy environment. I am still a believer of the Church and its teachings, we know God only accept the pure in the hearts people in His presence. Morever, even if we are in different Denomination BUT if we accepted Jesus and believe Him that is the main key for Salvation. I found members of this Denominations are the most nicest people out there, so as other Denominations. True believers in Christ who always accepted and believe Him.

I am a convert to the church and I learn about making and keeping covenants with Heavenly Father, is what binds us to Him via His Son and the Authority of the Priesthood. Without the Covenants, we have no promise.

I love this video. and I love reading comments by those not of the "Mormon" Latter Day Saint faith. This movie was beautiful. and it's a history of my ancestors. They gave up EVERYTHING they had, and were persecuted and killed, mocked, some were disowned by their families because of their faith. America is a place of religious freedom, we don't have to believe what other faiths say, but we better respect each other.

I sometimes feel guilty of my sins and for not turning to Him when my two older brothers died in 2021 due to asthma and heart failure. I have asthma as well but have ah ealthy heart. I somehow forgot the things I learned from primary to serving a mission. I stopped going to church and making excuses to not attending church activies. My parents are not so active in the church. For long years I did not see the love and blessings after the tragic happened because of anger and doubts. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ arent giving up sending good friends and especially the Holy Ghost. My testimony and through the help of the Holy Ghost I made my steps to turning to Him again. Last November, Our bishop granted me to renew my temple recommend and visit the temple. I couldn't contained my joy and peace I felt inside the temple to proxy my late older brother to receive his endowment and sealed my late grandparents through the help of my aunt and uncle. I testify everything in the Church is true. I testify temple are the house of holiness.

His faith in God , caused him mucn grief, however, this did not stop him from spreading the word of Jesus Christ. They killed because he was a child of God, but Joseph Smith received salvation from God. We should fight a good fight as Joseph Smith did. Glory to God.

I am Born Mormon and I am happy that I belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sacrifices of the Prophets of Old gifts us the liberty and freedom we have right now to go each week in the Sacrament Meeting to remember the atoning sacrifice of our Savior as we renew our baptismal covenant without fearing for our safety. And more importantly for the blessing of having The Book of Mormon. I testify that all good things are of the Lord Jesus Christ and The Book of Mormon testify about all good things we should do in this world.

I am so greatfull for the courage Joseph Smith had. It would have been much easier to just live a quiet life with his family. He choose to stand up for truth! My life is so blessed as a result of the amazing Book Of Mormon, and the restoration of the full gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a decendant of the Lamanites who are in the book, and I have no doubt that our Savior came to visit them and many others after his resurection! How different would our world be if we all choose to seek out truth and light as diligently as he did!

All ancient American people related directedly to family of Jared or Lehi, or not, are all still the same blood to me. It’s unreal isn’t it? I’m just a struggling Christian myself. I also always found religions very fascinating as well when I was agnostic. I still do. When someone calls themselves and atheist I just can’t help but shake my head. I don’t think people even know what that word truly means. They just see Dawkins, or Hitchens call themself that and follow suit. I would bet 95 percent of people who call themselves atheists are actually deists. It’s unfathomable to me that Dawkins or when Mr. Hitchens and so many others truly believe deep down there is nothing. It’s just absurd and frankly just disrespectful to humanity. They just want to distance themselves as far away from religion as possible because … obviously there are good and bad things with it. Don’t be fooled though, especially what we have learned in the last 20 years through science. These men are NOT atheists lol. It’s getting so bad and the data is pointing so strongly towards a creator even so called atheists are denying science. It’s bizarre. Anyways didn’t mean to off on a tangent. There really are a lot of lies and misconceptions that surround the gospel, and I can see how it took a while to accept. I know that the Lord has his purposes in this. He wants us to see with the eyes of faith, and the not opinions of men. It took me 7 years after I was first introduced to the church before I was baptized. I am really happy for you :).
