Joseph Zbukvic Painting in Girona

I got to meet and film the world renowned painter Joseph Zbukvic painting en plein air last month while he was doing his annual workshop in Girona, Spain when our friends form Escoda Brushes invited me to come with them.
Such a unique experience! It was like taking a private lesson from the master himself :)

hahaha I definitely understand you but it doesn't stop him from doing so. I remember it was a hot summer day and summers in Barcelona can be a bit harsh to the skin so I totally get him if he upturns the collar. :)

@@TooleyPeter no I didn't. Prior to this, I wasn't aware of his works. I was introduced by the people from Escoda. I'd like to attend a workshop, maybe in the future if I click the register button fast enough to get a slot. :D

I would love to have seen this wonderful artist with a better video of his work , hear his comments and no terrible, unnecessary horrible "music" which does not compliment his good work.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Obviously, this is not a video of the artist with comments. But what's not obvious is that he and I both knew that commenting of what he was doing while painting wouldn't work with the place he chose to paint from (although he still tried to comment on the brushes for that only minute that the street was not too noisy, but the microphone still picks up everything). The view was perfect except for one thing - there was a horrible busy morning noise in the street with all the vehicles passing by and people renovating a building nearby with some drilling involved. But of course you don't know that. I very much prefer horrible music than horrible noise and I do not edit to please everybody. I edit to my discretion. Lastly, we should all be grateful that he agreed to put out a video of him painting to public domain. It's not everyday that that happens.
