I’m a gear head… 9 tents, 5 sleeping bags, 6 different packs, 3 canoes etc… I’ve done a ton of research over the twenty years collecting that stuff. Each with its specific application. The hours of planning, execution of that plan, filming and editing. That’s a real job. If you weren’t self motivated you wouldn’t be where you are today. As for putting your family as a priority that’s huge. You blink and your daughter calls to say she’s engaged. Life goes by so quickly. Me, I’m beginning my second childhood as I retired in June. Yes I’d rather have your job over a “real” job. Wolf is an excellent dog he’s growing so fast. He’s becoming a true camping companion
