Hi, thank you for sharing. I have a dampness issue in my apartment and it’s bring gnats and flies. My neighbor told me he thinks the dampness is causing the bugs to hang around. alicia...6 months later...i just saw your post and you probably already know this but i started buying these gnat & fly sticky paper sticks that you can use any where. i grow herbs in my kitchen so i just stick them into the dirt and they really work and they are cheap. got mine on amazon...hope this helps...and they also work outside in your plants...

Mine worked! From the dollar store. Had it on top shelf of closet for a few months and found it full today. I think it's like those cilica packs you find in purses and COVID tests. It's to keep moisture out and protect items. My house is always humid. Going to buy more than just one and put them in each closet and bathroom. It's summer I bet they will fill up fast.

The damp traps out the dollar store that tell you not to remove the white coating over it,I have used these left them out for months and got no water at all,so i then punctured them which they say not to do and only then will i see them start to fill with water,i have tried lots of brands and find the same thing they dont work unless you puncture the white coating over them.

Yes it works at capturing moisture but if you have a lot of moisture it's hard for it to keep up. You need to put out a lot of them.
