Good Lord, can we knock it off with the turnover stuff? He had one more turnover than the god himself, Patrick mahomes. When someone says the only way Josh Allen can win the MVP is to not turn the ball over, despite being the best quarterback in the NFL for the past 5 years, it's ridiculous and insane.

100% Media blew up the turnover issue. The last 4 years he has averaged 14 interceptions a year. However on top of that he has averaged 43 touchdowns to go with it. Mahomes in his career averages 11 turnovers a year. Burrow 12 and Lamar 10. Josh scores more TDs than all of them. Not like the Bills have the second most wins since 2019 either. The biggest difference is he doesn't have to force the ball to anyone anymore and takes less risks.

Whats worse is when they say "especially in the red zone" as if he didn't commit his first ever RZ turnover at the end of the 22 season. He has literally the beat TD/TO ratio in the RZ I'm NFL history, and they want to talk about RZ turnovers.

I'm a Bills fan but let's be realistic. It's not as big of a historical deal that you are making it out to be. In two of those five years, the Bills needed the 17th game of the year to get to that 11th win. 17 game seasons have only been around for four years. So, no one in the past has had 17 games to get that 11th win. In this streak, Buffalo hasn't gotten to 11 wins in the first 16 games of the season, even two years in a row. This "amazing" feat is only because the season is now 17 games long. If you looked at how many coaches got 10 wins in 16-game season five years in a row, there would be a lot of coaches added to the list. If you went back further and looked at how many coaches got nine wins five years in a row when the season was 14 games, the list would be a lot bigger.

While I appreciate the context you added to this discussion, it doesn’t change the accomplishment in my eyes because McDermott put Buffalo back on the map by changing the culture and keeping the team in a consistent position to win it all by making the playoffs 7/8 seasons and counting; but also, McDermott had nothing to do with how many games are in a season.

Another big point is Josh against the Lions didn't even target Cooper one even though he was on the field for nearly every play. They used Cooper to take the best Lions defenders out of it and bully the newcomers. Pretty smart by Josh and Brady.

My guess though is any potential interviewer is gonna say "So, hey bro, can you do what you did with Allen and Burrow with my QB?" I wouldn't be surprised if Brady stays, frankly. You're gonna chalk that loss up to time management? Had he saved the timeout you really think the rams wernt gonna get a first down? This is the bills best run gane in allens career but look at the lions tape theres at minimum 5 plays where NO ONE is open and he extends the play until someone is and makes a rediculous throw. Its still an awful lot of allen in this offense

Let's look at a scenario. Team falls behind by big score. QB brings team back within a score and loses in spite of scoring 42 points! Team A : Bills losing to Rams. Oh, Josh Allen had MVP performance in a loss! Team B: Lions losing to Bills! No mention of Goff's unbelievable performance by ANY MEDIA!! Buffalo and Josh Allen scored 48 points against a JV defense, where 90 % original starters and back ups were missing! Goff did it METHODICALLY against a very good defense just missing 2 starting DBs! Amazing hypocrisy by media, blinded by glamour of Josh Allen's dual threat!! Goff did a way better job against a much better defense and still you guys keep ignoring his superb performance!!

Garbage time stats. And the lions were the betting favorite..Allen went out with a third string defense in the playoffs last year and lost 27-24 to the chiefs. This game was always going to be high scoring. Allen's leading receiver was his third string QB. Goff has a pretty nice cast around him. Man some people just don't know football. Get real Allen beat a bunch of non starting defensive players Goff threw 5td's torched their defense minus their starting safeties had a 5yd drive because of a special teams blunder. IF the Lions had recovered that 2nd onside kick they would have had a chance to still win the game. I'm not hating on Josh at all he put 48 points on that group he did a great job controlling the game and did exactly what a MVP caliber QB should do. What Goff did wasn't chopped liver for sure. Having the offense needing to put 49 up to win is ridiculous ask. ST. Browns fumble cost us a possession that hurt us. Bill's not getting points inside the 10 yd. line hurt them. They deserved to win the game for sure. Congratulations to them but I definitely would be concerned for both teams defenses moving forward their is a lot to fix for both teams on that side of the ball. Detroit is in a really bad situation right now they. are really going to need some serious offense to protect that defense and as good as they are, it's going to be difficult. Bill's should be okay theirs is more fixable right now. Josh is a great player leading a great team and I hope they make it to the Superbowl the fans there deserve a shot at a Lombardi. If they're not playing us, I hope they get it.

Injuries part of the game as much as it sucks. Bills didn’t have as much as lions last season but in the playoffs last year the D line was the only starting players everyone else was 2nd string at least. I say that cause almost nobody even mentioned that afterwards it was just Bills lose to KC in postseason again. Which of course they did defense never had chance n it shouldn’t have been a shocker lol. Lions D line lost everyone right? Thats fucking crazy. Hopefully Lions get healthy ASAP. Tho I know a lot of injuries are season ending

How exactly would you know Allen would have been as good if Hutchinson, Anzalone and many others starters for the Lions were in? Hutchinson wouldn’t have made it as easy for Allen outside the pocket. Hutch is tall (6’7”)and fast. Very fast. Who knows? Imagine if Oliver was out for the Bills. Very different most likely. Yes your 2 safeties were out as were Lions safeties. Allen is great. I like the guy. He’s amazing. He deserves a Super Bowl championship. Bills have been to 4 Super Bowls and Won 4 AFC championships. Bills have won 5 straight division titles.
