I'm at the 10:45 mark so I don't know if you figured it out yet but..... If you move the throttle cable over to the left side of the clip that holds it down to the linkage, you get more of a straight shot/pull when working the throttle. You can see at the MARK that you have a slight S Curve on the spring. Moving the throttle cable over to the other hold down position corrects that.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My twist throttle is touchy and the motor likes to go fast. Never been a fan of all or nothing with these, they get out of hand fast.

Thanks for this. I was debating getting a thumb throttle because I can see how that grip can be dangerous. Now just to add the torque kit and replace the valve springs.

Did you consider putting shock forks on when replacing the solid? Never priced them so I'm sure they'd be more than solids. After riding both, I know the front shocks are better off road.

my throttle screws are stripped what do i do, i just bought a thumb throttle and whenever i looked into my throttle as i was about to take it off i saw the stripped screws, what can i do to fix this and get those screws out

No you could just change the throttle without changing the hand brake he just wanted to change it so he did it at the same time.

On the predator 212 from harbor freight you don’t need it

@@sgjesse13 there a on and off button way easier on the engine in the middle and it’s only 4 bolts to change the motor you will need a new clutch for a 212 but it’s super simple
