I really am amazed by this artist. I remember I first heard this song about 6 years ago when I was going through suicidal thoughts and very bad mental health.. and this was the song that really kept me going. It was one of the few times when I actually felt comfort and joy.. I was still depressed, but I felt hope.. and not so alone knowing God was there... I came a long way from it and I have listened to this song so many times, but it still makes me feel that way

Even though this song was not written to talk about race or cultures becoming the tapestry of God's glory, it really hit me in light of what is going on in the world right now. The death of George Floyd is bringing so much darkness (which is the lack of color) and disunity. Something that is intended to be beautiful is bringing pain.
