The guy at the piano is Seth Rudetsky. He is well liked and respected in the Broadway arena. He is a great pianist, composer, writer, and actor. As someone who obviously likes musical theatre, I would have expected you to enjoy his "obsessed" or "deconstructs" videos. Oh well.
