Aaron Jones played in 11 regular season games last year and recorded less than 10 carries in 5 of them (was playing injured) Jacob’s is also younger. so while i agree with you that at there respective peaks i would prefer Jones, when the proper context is given, it becomes clear it’s a good move for the organization to get younger and move off a nearly 30 year old RB. I don't think he goes anywhere. If they can't resign him they'll franchise him. They have no QB right now, Waller, Adams and Crosby are locked into a contract. They'll find a QB in the draft or free agency. Hopefully. Other than that who are the other priority players on this team? I think not picking up his 5th year option was a motivation thing and it worked. He'll be a Raider next year.

He reminds me of prime Leveon bell. Not the fastest but so smooth, great balance and insane vision. I think he’s a step faster then leveon and just a bit tougher but terribly under utilized in the pass game.

Us Raider fans may have been disappointed by some (or most) of the coaching by McDaniels and the way he handled the Carr situation. But the one thing he got right was how to use Jacobs. Gruden did not use him enough in the short passing game. Bisaccia started to but it was to late. They need to resign him or franchise him. He's a beast when you use him right. 2053 all purpose yards. That's a man. Hopefully they find a QB and better days await us.

This trend of not paying RB's is a complete joke! They play the most versatile and physically punishing position on the team and get treated like trash. Sure there are a lot of mid-level guys you can get by with and run a committee, but a special RB is a game changer just like any other position.
