Say what you will about Mcdaniels as a head coach but he does deserve a lot of credit for those Patriots teams. I know some will say he was just a Brady merchant but I don’t think that’s fair. In ‘08 when Brady got hurt they still went 11-5 and had a top 10 offense, as well as In 2021 with a rookie Mac Jones.

Boy was that a hard pill to swallow. For much of that game I felt like "We're going back to the Super Bowl!" But then the roof caved in. Even if the Ravens went to the AFC Championship Game last year and lost to the Chiefs dynasty, that game was the closest I think that they've come to a Super Bowl since their last title in 2012 just because of the fact that they knew how to play the Patriots and I don't think anyone else outside of New England that was still left in the AFC playoff picture was capable of beating them.

Like they mention, that Ravens D was impossible to run against and they'd do it with 3 or 4 man fronts. They'd drop everyone else in coverage, play you physically and make you earn every single yard. I never felt comfortable vs those Ravens as a Pats fan.

The Harbaugh Ravens were, imo, the best competitor and the opponent I was most afraid of as a Pats fan during the Brady years. He coached those teams to always be ready, and they were never afraid. When you see what Josh did with Mac his rookie year I am pretty surprised New England didn’t bring him back in a OC/assistant head coaching role to help Drake develop he clearly has the feel and knowledge for that role. Not everyone is meant to be a head coach it’s not a slight at all either. I mean obviously to be successful as a head coach you need a QB which he never had at either stop. But AVP might get the job done we’ll see, he has the chance to prove it. I just think Josh would of been the perfect fit for the situation

Why Brady wasnt Brady in 2001-2. All the Pats say that. They won because they had a great defense and he didnt turn the ball over

I’m super curious to hear his experience as a head coach. I’m genuinely interested in hearing what he had planned for Tebow and why they would draft him in the first round.
