Say what you will about Mcdaniels as a head coach but he does deserve a lot of credit for those Patriots teams. I know some will say he was just a Brady merchant but I don’t think that’s fair. In ‘08 when Brady got hurt they still went 11-5 and had a top 10 offense, as well as In 2021 with a rookie Mac Jones.

Boy was that a hard pill to swallow. For much of that game I felt like "We're going back to the Super Bowl!" But then the roof caved in. Even if the Ravens went to the AFC Championship Game last year and lost to the Chiefs dynasty, that game was the closest I think that they've come to a Super Bowl since their last title in 2012 just because of the fact that they knew how to play the Patriots and I don't think anyone else outside of New England that was still left in the AFC playoff picture was capable of beating them.

Like they mention, that Ravens D was impossible to run against and they'd do it with 3 or 4 man fronts. They'd drop everyone else in coverage, play you physically and make you earn every single yard. I never felt comfortable vs those Ravens as a Pats fan.

The Harbaugh Ravens were, imo, the best competitor and the opponent I was most afraid of as a Pats fan during the Brady years. He coached those teams to always be ready, and they were never afraid. The schemes were right, the players were insanely talented, the execution was quality. Mad respect to the Ravens.

@@BobbieBalldo Well it took that team a few years to figure out how to beat the Patriots in a game with Super Bowl aspirations. And once they did, every time they played New England, they always gave the Pats issues. This could be their legacy against Mahomes too if they eventually can beat them.

Then kicked Carr out and replaced him with some scrub 5th rounder out of purdue and forced him to wear #4 out of disrespect. Carr was the literal reason Adams went to Vegas. Julian, Great interview!!! I'm excited to see Josh on your channel today. He was such a big part of the Patriots success, because he's such a great coach!!! I love your channel because I'm able to see you guys just relaxing and talking like were all in the room with you. I know BB wanted tight lips lol, so this is cool to see. Julian, do you have any plans to get Tom on here?

A prolific receiver with great hands and a knack for making big plays, his career totals were 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards, 14.8 yards per catch and 153 TDs. The yardage total ranked second all-time and his touchdown reception total was third most in NFL history at the time of his retirement. terrell owens second all time

When you see what Josh did with Mac his rookie year I am pretty surprised New England didn’t bring him back in a OC/assistant head coaching role to help Drake develop he clearly has the feel and knowledge for that role. Not everyone is meant to be a head coach it’s not a slight at all either. I mean obviously to be successful as a head coach you need a QB which he never had at either stop. But AVP might get the job done we’ll see, he has the chance to prove it. I just think Josh would of been the perfect fit for the situation

Ravens were real physical, knew how to get to Brady, and Flacco had a good year. I remember one game against Baltimore where Brady broke the record for passes in a game. I think he had about 44 short quick passes - because they knew they couldn't run and Brady wouldn't have time.
