"those who have seen me have seen the father" doesn't work as a comparison to the weights and measurements analogy because Jesus didn't show them the original father when they asked.

I agree with Josh McDowell if he asserts that moral truth is not determined by failing to live up to moral truth which would equate to meaning "moral truth" must work. However, my moral epistemology looks at the intrinsic nature of moral claims. Moral claims from the bible are accepted as true because many Christians accept at face value that such truths come from the creator of the universe. This is worse than the flawed epistemology that he has noticed.

If its made by humand its subjective and not absolute. And truth and morality comes from a mind. So its from a mind beyond humanity, which we find in our Creator.
