As one of Josh's best friends, I can attest to how incredible of a human Josh was. The kid truly loved giving and positively impacting the world/people around him more than any person I had ever met in my life...I was the first person to enter his room after the accident, I sat there for hours.. and when I looked around, on his white board one of the things he had written was to compliment 3 people every day. I think about how kind hearted he was with every waking moment and through the JNF his big heart will live on. This foundation is a part of his legacy and I know Josh's family are making him so proud from above. Love you guys. This is huge.

Just found out he passed after I quit longboarding for a few years, me and my friends used to watch him when we were kids and he inspired us to bomb some crazy hills. He really did inspire a younger generation of riders, ill send my prayers to you.

I sat next to Josh on an airplane from LA to North Carolina or the other way around. He handed me his business card and I was moved by his humility. Such a sweet boy. If I remember correctly it was a black business card with silver writing. This was back in July of 2021. He was telling me that his next big trip was to Iceland. I have kids of my own and I can’t imagine your heavy hearts. I don’t know you, but I love you. RIP Josh Neuman

Man this is crazy to me I recently started getting recommended downhill videos and decided to flip through a couple of them before landing here and it breaks my heart that Josh is no longer with us He was one of the main inspirations I had to do technical longboarding work and to maybe progress to doing some downhill stuff, I didn't get far as I had several other commitments that were more important than that hobby, but there is a lot of respect to be put on Josh's name for his amazing work and equally as amazing character I will say, and y'all definitely embody it; We do not weep for those that now sleep their deep slumbers, but we move to live under the guidance of their actions, no matter how long ago they passed I doubt that the downhill community amongst many will forget about Josh's phenomenal contributions, but I surely hope that there will be at least some that will try to walk in his footsteps and to apply themselves all the way with conviction like he clearly did

Thank you to Josh for inspiring me to take up freeride at the age of 60 . Last time I rode was in 1978 and I’ve just done my very first stand up heel slide today . A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Neuman having bought one of the Neuvision longboards from the Neuman foundation , they couldn’t have been more helpful . Please remember that three other people also died along with Josh. They may not have been as famous, but they all deserve respect too. They were: Tim Alings, the sponsorship manager for a company Josh was creating content for, Nicola Bellavia, a skydiver and social media influencer from Belgium, and the pilot Haraldur Diego, one of Iceland's most prominent aviators.

Josh touched our son, Noah, deeply in the short time that they had together. Noah is inspired by Josh every day and carries his spirit...they were truly kindred spirits. While the rest of our family didn't have the opportunity to know Josh firsthand, we feel as though we do through Noah and through Josh's documentation of his beliefs, passions and inspiration. Clearly, he was blessed with an amazing, loving family that nurtured that beautiful spirit❤️

I just started watching some of these downhill skate videos and I’m just amazed at the level of skill and danger that these guys go through. I imagine doing something like this in my dreams. And then I found joshes channel. And then learned the story about his Tragic death. I am very touched to find out somebody so brave and daring and at the same time loving and compassionate. Is what this world needs right now. Courage and compassion together. Although I am too old to strap on stopping stones and skate down to Swiss roads I would love to help this world have the healthy food and water it needs.

Oh poo. I've been looking out for more videos and had no idea. The thought of him gone brought tears to my eyes. I had no knowledge of his other interests. I had commented that his skill on the longboard was beyond that which others demonstrate. His ability to pre-slow before bends allowed him to maintain speed when others faltered and almost stop. I lost my older brother when I was 18 in an accident. The memories are still there often, 40 years on. He was a best friend to me.
