Very Funny movie.I saw it in the theatre ! The only trouble is when you show this to friends under thirty years old you have to explain the jokes as they didn't live the era of TV that they spoof so well in the skits. Heck- You have to tell them who Wally and The Beav were !

I agree...*The Groove Tube* and *Tunnelvision* may have preceded this,but both are sloppy and unfocused. Of course,both look like masterpieces compared to....c'mon,everybody say it with me... *Movie 43* !!! The only movie of this sub-genre that is anywhere near as good as this is *Amazon Women On The Moon*...while it has some weak spots,its framing device of a 1950's male-explorers-and-beautiful-women flick,as shown in the wee hours of the morning on some UHF channel,is genius satire.

Yeah, movies like date movie, superhero movie and such really demolished this kind of comedy. They are unbelievably bad and just not funny. Pure garbage in my opinion. I have yet to watch Kentucky Fried Movie. Ironically, I have seen it but I was too young to understand it. I just didn't know what to make of it. Stupid little me 😂

I have the exact same memory of watching this on tv when I was little in the early 1980s, but everything went over my head so I changed the channel. "This is supposed to be funny?!?"
