Long time Husker fan. Last year even with all the injuries if we had just one decent QB it would have bumped us up from 5-7 to at least 7-5 to as high as 9-3. I'm seeing potential for better QB play this year but the defense, while very good last year, has to create turnovers and the offense needs to quit giving it away. We are probably a year away from getting a few top recruits to commit but they are at least visiting this month.

There is also another change that's really showing up and that is the incredible supply of good players that is expanding exponentially yes the Big 12 and the other conferences are benefiting from that but the best of the best are still going to the SEC followed by the Big Ten great players now to pass around

Mario's record his first two years at Miami is 12-13. At Oregon Mario was replaced by Lanning who was 22-5 at Oregon. Every coach who left Oregon for greener pastures ended up failing.
