Greg's personality comes through so clearly when he played that thing. Witty . Love it.

When these guys are on their own they are absolute beasts. When they're on the same stage it is just unreal. Two of my favorite players right there. Thank you for posting this.

How right you are! There really is no one like him who projects such wildness and humor through his guitar. And of course Josh is totally amazing too! We are living in a lucky age : )

Ah the slide bar - Just a few miles from my house. Local watering hole for those in the know. I have been there just for the burgers. Played on both stages and love the atmosphere. These 2 are amazing together, ... the "conversation" between them on guitar is epic! I watch Greg on his KZbin channel "Live from the Orange room" for some Gristletime!

These two demons dragging me towards the purchase of a Telecaster ! Thanks for posting ! Yum Yum
@davidrussell89184 жыл бұрын
Buy one, best elecric guitar ever made. I have 9 of them. All set up different, but a good stock tele can get any sound you want.
@daviddalziel8844 жыл бұрын
David Russell cheers , but which one ? A Baja ? Like Tele customs with the wide range humbucker and normal Tele bridge setup!
@davidrussell89184 жыл бұрын
@@daviddalziel884 I have a custom shop 63 double bound 51 hot wound bridge pu and a tex mex, neck, and one I built with a chambered walnut body with red elm top and stock p90s are my two favorite I have ones with mini buckers, filtertrons, paf,bridge hot rail neck they all have there place ,and I love all of them, but if I could only have one, it would be my 63. I love the sound of but never been crazy about the vintage 7.5 radius neck. I like the modern radius better. One thing ive found over the years lighter weight teles sound the best.
@daviddalziel8844 жыл бұрын
David Russell thanks for the information . I have had an Ibanez Roadstar since the eighties-a super Strat style and originally had a three way switch . It’s a wonderful guitar with a super comfortable neck so looking for a Strat it had to be better -not just different-to compete . Played tons ad went off the idea but early last year bought a second hand deluxe HSS which has a 9.5 radius neck . Others with the 7.5 feel like a toy . It would appear that most Teles have 7.5 although easy to play they feel a bit odd . The quest goes on 😀
@davidrussell89184 жыл бұрын
@@daviddalziel884 Dave my 63 tele is a custom shop, but I bought it used, and it was ordered all origianal spec. If you buy a newer americian or mexican standard tele, it will have a 9.5 radius. The mexican teles are damn good for a lot less cash, if uou can live without the fender logo on the head stock , I played a 60s classic vibe thinline squire the other day. It blew me away, it has a chambered nato wood body( a type of mahogany) nice and light and it sounded amazing, all the 60s spec except a 9.5 neck! And there only $449 new. Bet you could find a good used one for $250. Then you can have a tele with busting the bank. Good luck in your quest.

@1:14 I thought the guitarist was calling '4 sharps' for Greg and the bass player, as in E Major (or C# Minor) and I couldn't figure out why he was calling for that... And then they moved to to the 4th! Is there the very slightest hesitation on Koch's face just before he goes to the 4? If I was playing bass it would have felt right to go to the fourth, but I'm not sure that with that signal I might have hit an E thinking that he was calling it *because* it was unusual !! XD
